Hello, I want to file a complaint and explain what happened just now at 4:00 PM. At Not Frill, I was shopping and selecting products and I didn't realize I had dropped my $25. I was in a hurry, and when I saw someone from India gathering it up, I told them it was mine. But it seemed like they didn't believe me. I gave my money to security to check the cameras. However, that man didn't check the camera properly during the fall; he only cropped the footage when it was on the ground. He even went to the manager saying it wasn't mine, that I was lying. In the end, I told him to check carefully where someone had dropped it, and he finally saw it was mine and gave it back to me after a long wait of an hour, wasting my time. Even knowing I'm deaf, he kept talking. So I suggest that you properly train your security personnel before they start working and that you be professional when checking the cameras. Thank you.
No Frills: The name’s not lying—zero glamour, all glory. A temple for budget hunters where prices dive lower than my self-esteem on Mondays. Variety? Endless. And yes, there’s even a Brazilian aisle—because nothing screams ‘immigrant survival kit’ like tapioca staring back at you. Forget Whole Foods’ yoga prices; here, you stretch your dollar, not your hamstrings.
I've been shopping here for 14 years. If your on a tight budget, easily the greatest savings for a grocery store in greater Vancouver. There is no bulk dry goods to speak of so if your a scratch cook this may not be the place for you. Basics and ultra processed foods can be had at reasonable prices, just dont set expectations too high and it should be a pain free experience.
I always enjoy shopping at JOTI NOFRILLS, mainly because of Lisa's friendly service. She greets me with a smile and is very helpful, making each visit a pleasant experience. Thanks to her excellent customer service, I visit almost every day. The staff is approachable and always ready to assist, making me feel valued. JOTI NOFRILLS is my favourite store, and I highly recommend it. I love this store!
This No Frills is a reliable spot for everyday shopping, especially if you’re looking for good deals on produce, pantry staples, and household items. The layout is straightforward, and while it doesn’t have the polish of higher-end grocers, it makes up for it with value. Fresh fruits and vegetables are usually well-stocked, and the bakery and deli sections cover the basics. Because of its central location, it can get crowded, especially evenings and weekends, but checkout lines move fairly quickly. Parking is limited, so transit or walking is often easier. A solid choice if you want to stretch your grocery budget without sacrificing too much on selection
