Weekend well spent with family. Thanks to Sandman Hotel Surrey, our kids really did enjoyed their stay. Service was excellent to, grateful to Joel, Abner, Arnold for assisting us and catering best of customer service. We stayed in one of the Penthouse Suites- equipped with kitchen complete with kitchen tools and amenities, living area large enough for kids to play, bathroom was clean however not enough toiletries, big was large enough. However there is only 1 AC unit centralized for the whole room which makes it warm in the bedroom area, we requested additional fan because it was really hot inside. Parking area is secured also. Thanks to Sandman Surrey
We stay here on average 5-6 times a year. The better rooms/suites are very good value for the money. Clean and spacious -though a few times we had rooms with wonky closet doors and non-functioning lights and outlets. However, our rooms have been consistently good since joining the RSVP loyalty program.nThe quality of the front desk service can vary over the year as well. Happily our last two visits were made special by Joel. The second visit he remembered us and greeted us by name. He made sure that room given us was consistent with the quality of room we have had in the past. Thank you Joel!, it was nice to see a friendly, welcoming face at the end of a long drive.
The Sandman Suites is a unique property in greater Vancouver; practical, comfortable and affordable. We had a flood in our home and having been living in hotels while repairs are taking place. This hotel is far better than anywhere else we've stayed. The suites are spacious and equipped with full kitchens and the huge bonus of a washer and dryer. We've been able to settle in and live normally. Last but not least, all the staff at the hotel, especially Christina at the front desk, have been kind and helpful.
My aunt and uncle came here from England and reserved a penthouse sweet. They were very pleased as they were super super comfortable in the bed and found the room nice. We thought the hotel itself looked quite tired and needs a little bit of a refresh. The outside needs to be repaired in a lot of places bottoms of balconies especially and perhaps pressure washed and painted.
I must say the check in experience was great! Quick and effortless. They young lady was very professional and kind. Just what I need after driving 6000 km from the other side of the country!nJosephine......you are great at your job!nThank you,nPhilip
