Had our wedding here. The Poco Room is gorgeous. Teresa was great to work with to get everything setup and it went off without a hitch. Our rooms looked great and when I asked for my room to be refreshed fully after the first night at a certain time of day they delivered with no issues. Staff were professional. Great place for a wedding or to spend a night. The little pub looked like fun and comfy with a live band on the Friday night. Izba was a fantastic breakfast.
The rooms are very similar to other hotels nothing special.nService from front desk is amazing, cleaning crew could do better. I was in my room one of the days they cleaned, requested for my blankets to be washed and replaced they did not wash or replace them just re made the bed, they were obviously dirtynLocation is convenient close to a lot of stuff, but the highway noise and train can be loud at times.
Sorry for the delay to leave a review, 3 weeks ago we stayed at the Poco Inns and Suites for a surgery for my husband at Eagle ridge Hospital. From the moment we got a date, the hotel had been alerted we would need a room for 5 days. As we were travelling from West Kootenay, it was stressful planning how this would all pull together. Leah not only made this transition smooth, but went above and beyond to make our stay not only pleasant but gave us a room to accommodate the length of the stay. From the front desk, very professional and helpful for the entire stay. Housekeeping for always offering to help us and our room was spotless. The bed, linens and amenities were top level. We definitely would stay here again, only this time for a holiday! Thank you to everyone at the hotel who made this stay stress free.
Spacious and comfortable room. I didn't hear people in other rooms, but there's a nearby train yard that I did hear. With the fan and some relaxing music, it didn't wake me in the night. If you are a light sleeper, I recommend ear plugs.
I used this hotel to accomodate all my family and friends for my wedding through the use of a wedding block. I had a great experience with the hotel, with excellent communication leading up, as well as throughout our stay. They also offer a complimentary shuttle to our wedding venue nearby golf course which was so helpful. I highly recommend!!
