I used this hotel to accomodate all my family and friends for my wedding through the use of a wedding block. I had a great experience with the hotel, with excellent communication leading up, as well as throughout our stay. They also offer a complimentary shuttle to our wedding venue nearby golf course which was so helpful. I highly recommend!!
Solid 3 star hotel, convenient location for PCCC sports. Room was big enough for us but is quite outdated, not that it really matters for me though. The most important metric in any hotel/motel stay is whether they supply a bathrobe and slippers, this place did not disappoint, extra star for sure just on this metric alone. I would suggest if you like quiet sleeps then get a room on the backside because the trains run at night and between the whistles and cars connecting it gets noisy.nnOne big downside is the suites do not have a fold out couch, whether that's a feature or a bug I don't know but if a family wants some room to separate the kids in the bedroom they have no options.nnFlooring in front of the motel rooms is really slippery, the gloss finish on the tiles was probably meant to preserve their finish but they make it slippery when wet. Saw lots of people slip on them. Second floor is no better since nothing really has grip to it. Do better management.nnContinental Breakfast was good enough given the hotels rating. I'm not impressed by the lack of fruit options at the breakfast though.
Brides and grooms - look elsewhere for guest accommodation! This is a 2 star motel with access to rooms from the outside only, a lack of basic amenities and no elevators.n- Overpriced. We were charged $300/night far more than the posted online price and in no way aligned with the amenities and cleanliness of the placen- Poor wayfinding. Lack of signage e.g. to lobbyn- Uncomfortable- Hard bed and thin pillowsn- Loud- thin walls and next to a highway/road noise all night longn- No cribs/playpens/places for babies to sleep. We called ahead requesting a crib. They asked us to call again the morning of. When we did, we were told they had absolutely no place for our baby to safely sleep.n- unsafe: have to walk into the street from the lobby to access rooms, unsavory guests partying by the parking lot late into the nightn- Poor customer servicen- Parking lot is small with limited spots and tight- see photonnWe were traveling from out of town to a wedding and were all part of the wedding party. We seriously considered finding alternative accommodation due to the issues above. The wedding day ended up being too busy for us to find time to move. Don't make the same mistake we did- find another place to stay especially if you have little ones.
Ok I guess, maybe it’s just because I’m a carpenter, but the rooms are in rough shape for the price.nnStrong smell in the rooms. The main floor rooms have a slope to them in the bathroom which is weird. Cracks in the drywall. The carpet flooring is loose and move around, the head board is way out of level. The mirror is banged up. The Reno’s they must have done somewhat recently were pretty sloppy.nnI guess that’s the state of hotels these days “ I remember when a ok hotel was 140 a night “ these rooms where damn near 300 a night.nnI also came all this way for a medical procedure and didn’t realize hotels offer medical rates. When I asked they said “ we don’t do that “ my fault I should have shopped around I guess.
really clean place, nice service. Coming from Seattle, I get authentic Canadian hospitality here. Let alone, getting a room on a whim at 1 am. I definitely gonna return when I come back to British Columbia.
