Went here for our first year anniversary and loved it. We stayed in the Spa suite, with the private deck, hot tub, and sauna. We had breakfast provided both mornings, which was delicious. We would definately go back. We brought our own wine, played scrabble and found the beach view highly relaxing waking up to every morning. If you are looking for a weekend away with little fuss, and lots of privacy, we would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this B&B this past weekend. We stayed in the Imperial Suite, which was very spacious and had stunning ocean views. The room was attached to a deck where we were able to enjoy a delicious breakfast both mornings. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The location was ideal: right by the water yet, a few minutes' drive to shops or the beautiful Rocky Point Park. We would definitely recommend At the Beach Retreat to anyone who is looking for a relaxing getaway in Port Moody.

This place is comfy and amazing.My wife and I have been back three times and have always had a great relaxing time.The views and hosts are great!

We booked with At The Beach Retreat about 8 months in advance for our wedding night. 3 months before our wedding they claimed there was a "double booking" and cancelled our reservation. When we called to inquire why/how this happened, and to ask if we booked first or second, we were told that it didn't matter because the second booking wanted the whole place not just the suite we were staying at. If we booked first it certainly DOES matter, and kicking us out because someone else wants to book more rooms/pay more is a UNACCEPTABLE buisness decision. With only 3 months left finding a new booking is difficult as most places nearby are already filled for the date we NEED (not want). Extremely unprofessional! If you make a reservation here and someone else comes around with a longer stay/more rooms expect to get dropped and ignored. Very sad :(
