Safeway Parkgate Village

Store has better produce than a lot of other supermarkets IMO. Prices are generally fair. Wish it had a bit better vegan and foreign food selection, but not bad. I find the staff there are the best part. The clerk I had this morning Angeles/Angela? was so friendly and helpful. Went and got a cart for me when she saw how much stuff I had. Very kind.

I'm a little sad that right before cold and flu season is when they decided to get rid of all of the hand sanitizer and extra masks. Love this store overall, just very weird timing.

It's a Safeway, they need more deli staff but very nice.

They have some new pharmacists, one who is particularly unhelpful. No advice, suggestions, alternatives.Where do they learn about customer service?

My daughter and I went there to order her a cake for her birthday. The lady in the bakery was very helpful and friendly. My daughter is in a wheelchair and non-verbal. When we went to self check there was 3 spanish ladies working and they made my daughters day. They sang Happy Birthday to her in english and spanish then gave her 2 balloons to put on her chair. What an amazing and kind experience Thank you so much. So greatly appreciative.

What is going on in deli? I got a fresh panini and the bread is stale like crackers. Must have been kept out for a long time. It's bread, how can you mess it up. Please do better. Also the lighting is quite dim.

Got dinner from here today. Selection was actually pretty nice. Real close to Mt. Seymour.

I bought a roasted chicken legs. Unfortunately, no taste at all and it was still uncooked. Also, they did not give me French fries instead of wedges. Hey guys, we are living in the 20th century. I will not go back there anymore.

They have improved over the last five years, at which time they deserved 1 1/2 stars. Bakery products are not always moldy now and the produce is not spoiled as often. Even so, many of the staff seem to regret their life choices that led them to this job. Their customer service often reflects this. They do have three employees that truly go above and beyond, but customer service is adequate at best.
