Real Canadian Superstore

I’m really liking the value and price of their salmon patties. Great option for people who can’t eat beef or pork because of religious beliefs. Also, the no name premade pancakes are perfect for people who are tight on time.nnNot sure if anyone knows. But when your really occupied with work and life, superstore makes it easier for you with items for holidays. Not too long ago I made a simple turkey dinner with the sides. It makes it so easy to host with their pre packaged president choice items.nnThe store has a friendly staff and I love coming here in the mornings.

I visited Superstore last week and had a great experience! Everything was excellent , the store was clean and well-stocked, and the products were fresh and of high quality.nI went to a cashier named Bahareh, and I was very impressed by how professionally she handled everything. She scanned the items carefully and neatly, without piling them up the way some other cashiers do, which can sometimes lead to items getting crushed or broken. She was also very polite and pleasant.nGreat service overall. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Very busy Superstore. I like it always well stocked.

I did a big shop there today and I have been a loyal customer for years and have the PC points to prove it. Today I was not given a receipt at check out. I had bought a few outfits and gifts not tried them on in store or sure that they would fit my granddaughter. I called the store as soon as I got home to tell them because I may have a few returns. They do not accept returns without a receipt. I called and I was explaining what happened to the customer service representative and she hung up on me mid sentence. I called back twice and only got a recording…like my number was never going to be answered. I called back a fourth time on a different number this time and spoke to the manager. I explained, he didn’t apologize for the service I experienced and just said: you will have to come in and prove your purchase as soon as possible. Not impressed, no customer appreciation what so ever. Very, very disappointed. I have spent over 800,000.00 there over the years. Will be looking to shop elsewhere in the future.

I’m writing this review out of deep frustration and disappointment. My visit to the Superstore on Seymour Street this past Friday at around 4 PM was one of the worst retail experiences I’ve had in years.nnTo start with, the customer service desk was not focused on helping customers at all. Instead, the staff were busy promoting products and marketing campaigns, completely ignoring people who actually needed assistance. It felt more like a sales pitch than a support desk.nnAt the checkout, only three registers were open despite the store being busy. The cashiers were moving incredibly slowly and showed no sense of urgency. I waited in line behind someone with only three items, yet it took over 10 minutes for the transaction to be completed.nnWhat made it worse was what happened after. Instead of calling the next customer in line, the cashier started arranging promotional shopping bags, while several people stood waiting. When a customer complained about the unnecessary delay, the cashier didn’t apologize or explain — she simply looked at them with complete indifference and said, “I’m setting up Superstore promotional bags” as if that excused the lack of basic customer service.nnHer body language and tone were completely dismissive, showing no respect for the customers’ time or frustration. It felt like we were being ignored on purpose.nnI worked at this store years ago, and back then, the management was attentive and professional. Now, even though the store may look slightly updated, the decline in service, attitude, and accountability is beyond disappointing.nnThis experience was not just frustrating — it was disrespectful, unacceptable, and a clear sign that something has gone seriously wrong in how this location is being run.
