Loblaws City Market

This Loblaws is super convenient if you’re in Central Lonsdale — clean, well-stocked, and the layout makes sense. The produce is usually fresh, and the bakery section smells amazing their sourdough’s solid. I like that they carry a mix of everyday brands and more specialty stuff, including some decent Persian and Asian items. The underground parking is a plus, especially on rainy days. That said, prices can be on the higher side compared to No Frills or even Save-On, and the hot food bar is hit or miss — sometimes great, sometimes dry. Staff are generally helpful, but self-checkout can get backed up during peak hours.

Usually great but lately the service has really gone down.nLetting men bully older lady’s out of the deli line then they forced the rotten stuff on the old lady.nShe told them she was before him and would not like the old stuff but they gave it to her and dismissed her concerns.nnI felt so bad for her.nI have had staff take photos of my basket when I set it down. Like I am a thief? I have had staff cut me off then laugh.nI think I am going back to save on foods.nNot for quality but I am sick of being treated like garbage

Lovely place except it would be nice if you cleaned the bathroom more frequently as it can sometimes be quite disgusting.nAlso, please be more transparent about Canadian made products.nPlease offer more Canadian products and educate staff on this as they often don’t seem to know. Generally the staff, especially the cashiers are friendly and helpful.nnThanks!

The parking use to be free but now its not, and since it is located on the 2nd floor, the access is a little wonky and you have to use the paid parking. The staff are not really knowledgeable about where things are, a lot of staff seem new at their job. There also a lot commotion in parking, because the parking attendant is pretty aggressive on finning people and i guess many people miss the fact that its not free now

The store has underground/ground level parking for customers. The store is on the second level with stairs and escalator access. There is a Starbuck, a cake shop, bakery and hot/salad bar. Small carts are available and hand baskets for shoppers. Staff are friendly and helpful. always seems well stocked on essentials.
