The food and service are both terrible. The waiters treat you poorly and the restaurant is so over booked that they have two seater tables placed in awkward positions. These were reserved days in advance but they restaurant does not care. The food is not worth the money. Basically carrot, broccoli, 2 potatoes and half a tomato with the blandest fish on the planet. The best part is they charge a FAKE “tourism tax” which isn’t a real tax and a voluntary fee you can have removed. But they will make it seem like they are doing you a huge favour removing it. Even though its not a legitimate tax nor legally required by the province of Ontario. WHEN you see this ridiculous charge on your bill ask to have it removed. Its not regulated by anyone and the money does not go back to the city for up keep of attraction. The fee usually shows up in discreet acronyms and employees claiming to not know what it is. Simply ask to have it removed. You should not be paying the company more and tipping when they should be paying their employees properly.

The service was poor. Our waiter was rude and did not seem to care about how we were doing. We heard another waiter responding very rudely to a foreign couple who did not know that the restaurant rotates when they asked for a table looking towards the falls. The tortellini was bland, however the salmon was delicious, melted in your mouth and had good color. The view is stunning.

It goes without saying that the view is spectacular. The food is not bad. We had salmon and chicken dishes. According to my family, the salmon was very good. I had chicken which was just OK. I would have given 4 stars if there weren't some disturbing issues: While I was enjoying the view, I noticed flies on the window. First I thought they were outside the window, and was amazed how high they could survive. Then one fly fell on the window sill, and I realised they were actually inside the restaurant... Then the waiter came around to set the table with cups and dishes. 3 out of 4 cups were dirty beyond belief! This restaurant really needs to work on their sanitation.

Best experience we had in Niagara. Well worth the money, even though the restaurant is quite expensive. Our food was amazing. Very good quality and perfect portion size. Our scenery was perfect. Our reservation was at 6:30, got to see the fall several times, the illumination of the falls, and a beautiful sunset on the other side, perfectly timed. Deserts are to die for, try to squeeze one in. Decor is beautiful, great service, could not have asked for more.

The view from the revolving restaurant is amazing. It's exactly the right height to view the falls & surroundings and understand the way the river flows from one lake to another. It's a much better spot for photos than the observation deck because there are large glass windows instead of the tight metallic net. We thought we'd get bored when not facing the Falls but it's also quite interesting to understand the surroundings, including the ability to see the Toronto skyline from far if the day is very clear. The food itself was good, not great. We had the early dinner special. The small starter salad is very basic but very good. The main course was nice. The standard desert (a chocolate mousse) was very disappointing - some of us had upgraded to their dessert menu for and extra $4 and that was a good idea. Their cocktail are quite good but on the very sweet side. Overall, given the combination of the view & food, this was a great experience.
