Ponte Vecchio

Nice dinner at Ponte Vecchio Italian Restaurant in Niagara Falls. Ponte Vecchio is located inside Fallsview Casino and Resort. The staff is great and the restaurant has a great worldwide selection of wines.

Its ok I guess.. their risotto was cooked well but they use very cheap parmesan cheese. For a restaurant this pricey, you should be able to provide something other than kraft parmesan (no one should have to eat that... ever). The food would've been rated a 4/5 if the cheese didn't ruin the dish. As someone who grew up in an Italian household, I know my cheese. Don't ask for parmesan added to your food here!

Fresh & Tasty.... Tried it again, but different cooks may distort the food quality. Cations is key and that why I lowered my rating from 5 to 2.

Decent food but way over priced for what you are paying for. The caprese salad is $19 and comes with 4 tomato slices, 1 slice of buffalo mozzarella and 3 cherry tomatoes. The $52 veal chop with spaghetti was the smallest I've got at a restaurant, and also the most expensive. The creme brulee was the only part of our meal worth the price tag as it was big enough to share. Unfortunately we will not be going back here. I would go elsewhere where you will not leave hungry and minus $150+ dollars for a mediocre meal.
