Watermark Restaurant

My wife and I went to watermark and first impressions is, wow this place is beautiful, the pictures do not justify the resturant. The waitress we had was amazing, explaining how the menu works. Once we ordered our food we got our bread with some oil mixture. While the bread was amazing the oil they have with it was terrible. Now who cares, that main course WOW. I ordered the steak and it was the most tender flavourful steak I have ever had. It was like butter. 8oz steak and it made you want more. They should give you a 10oz choice too. Once that was finished I had desert and while it's nothing fancy it is worth mentioning that it was excellent. While the view is amazing and would highly recommend going to this place while it is expensive it is worth ever dime. Go to place you will not be disappointed.

Between the stellar view and attentive staff, I don’t know which one impressed me more. Our server Nicholas was professional and made us feel as though he was happy to have us as guests. The food is slightly pricey for the quality, but it was served quickly and as ordered. My wife and I will definitely be back to Watermark next visit to the Falls! Kudos!

Great cocktails and decent food. The views are great. As far as the more expensive Niagara restaurants go it's a good choice next to The Keg and Ruth Chris. You can choose a $55 3 course or $65 5 course prix fixe. They do make tif (tourism tax) mandatory though which really sucks cause your bill ends up being charged a total 23% ish tax. It adds up.

Very good omelet bar. Take some smoked salmon from the buffet and try it in an omelet. Great view of the Falls. Friendly staff.

Food was OK, but not great for the price. The only great item was the carrot cake. Service could have been better. When we booked we said we were on our honeymoon, and told them again at check in, but the hostess still asked us when we were being seated if we were celebrating anything special. The waiter did not mention it. Don't go here for the food, go for the view. We had a great table with a view of both falls.
