We stayed here for 5 nights and we're very satisfied. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. We were on the top floor and it was very quiet.nOn the 3rd night of our stay we had to change rooms at 10p because our air went out. After trying to reset the circuit breaker a couple times, we were moved down the hall. I do realize that this was out of the hotel's control but it was very inconvenient, especially with 2 young kids that were ready for bed. Plus, once we got in the room and opened the pull out bed, the mattress was a twin and didn't fit the frame. So my husband had to go back to our old room to drag and switch out the queen mattress that was on the other pull out bed for the kids before they could go to bed.
Its age is showing. They couldn't repair pool filtration system after a blackout, our room had ants, and a rather large spider greeted me one day in the bathroom. The room was considered an efficiency, but dishwasher didn't work mentioned twice to them and the toaster provided was burnt and food-caked they did replace that. A fire alarm sounded at 10:30 PM our last night, and we, as well as a few others, evacuated, but no one from management provided direction or feedback. The staff was courteous and efficient, but Marriott needs to update the Inn.
We visited here on numerous occasions while visiting New York. Needless to say, it is our favorite place to stay. Accommodations are always comfortable and the employees have gone out of their way to make sure all of our needs are met. The level of professionalism, kindness & knowledge of staff at this location is to be admired. We frequented this location while our son attended the CIA and it really felt like a home away from home. They even went above and beyond to assist our son on an occasion when he arrived too early for school. Just an all around perfect location and staff and we appreciate them all. Thank you!
Room was dirty and smelled musty.nA/c was in the sitting area but not in the sleeping area.nThe closest door was off of its track so was useless and exposed the dirt and grime in the track.nIt was tired and a bit run down and needs management that will take more interest in the cleanliness and maintenance of the place.
We recently stayed at this hotel with our family of five and had an absolutely wonderful time. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Every request we had was promptly and efficiently taken care of, making our stay hassle-free and enjoyable.nnUpon check-in, we requested a crib and extra towels, and within seconds, they were delivered to our room. The room service was also prompt and efficient, ensuring that our needs were met in a timely manner. We even requested a later check-out time, and the hotel graciously allowed us to check out at 12 PM instead of the usual 11 AM, giving us some extra time to relax and pack up.nnThe food at the hotel was delicious, and we were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of the meals. It was evident that the hotel takes pride in providing a satisfying dining experience for its guests.nnOne of the standout features of this hotel was the free parking. It was such a relief to have a convenient and complimentary parking option, especially when traveling with a family.nnAdditionally, I requested three bottles of water every day during our stay, and the hotel graciously provided them to us at the front desk free of charge. It was a small gesture, but it made a big difference in ensuring that our family stayed hydrated throughout our time at the hotel. The staff's attention to detail and willingness to accommodate our needs truly exceeded our expectations.nnOverall, our experience at this hotel was exceptional. The outstanding service, prompt response to requests, delicious food, and free parking made our stay truly memorable. We highly recommend this hotel for families looking for a fantastic and stress-free stay in the area.
