Do not stay here. I was checked in my room for only few hours and it became FULL of insects. Some even got into my luggage I didn’t discover until I got back home and had to discard it. I reported it to the front desk and not only did he not give me another room but the front desk attendant handed over a can of Raid and refused to come up to the room to check. I showed him pictures and videos of the bugs on the ceiling, lamp, sofa and showed no sense of urgency. I was told I would get a full refund, and deposit back which I haven’t. I called for several days for the hotel manager, speaking with several attendants all telling me “he would contact me” and never did. Upon leaving early they were already ready to change sheets and rent the room out to someone else without doing any type of fumigation, pest control, etc. This has been the most unprofessional, unsanitary travel experience I ever had.
I love my stay at the waterfall in. The people that work here was kind and courteous. I felt at home with my cat and dog. I could view the rustling water going past my window. When I went for breakfast I could see from the windows in the dining area the flowing water. If it wasn’t raining I could have sat outside and watch the water. Off distance I could see two young boys fishing. As I’m sitting the floors are being washed in the lobby and dinning area. This is a peaceful place. I look forward to my next get away.
Stayed at this establishment from January 13-15. I'm very disappointed that no one from management has had the decency to get back to me after leaving a serious complaint with the front desk on our departure. We had a suite for our stay and requested a room with a hot tub. The hot tub jets when turned was spitting black dirt and what appeared to have been mold. Absolutely disgusting. We were told by the front desk that management will be in touch with us. As to this posting no one has been in touch. Stay at your own risk. Not worth it. Plenty of other places in the area.
Do yourself a favor and go to the Holiday inn, much more comfortable bed and they not trying to scam you out at the front desk. For only a few dollars more.nnIf I give a debit, he wanted a credit, and when I provide a credit, he claims that they don't take that credit card, wanted to charge me an extra $150, the room is stinky hope they will change it for me, beds that has been used for many years already it feels. Outdated hotel fairly well maintained. Sits by a peaceful river. Staff is welcoming and servicefull. Breakfast basic and stations scattered. Dogs welcome is a plus, but also a challenge.
