A quiet old fashioned motel. Decent price stayed one night when we visited on a spur of the moment trip. Good pastries and coffee in lobby were a welcome sight in am. Room clean a bit dated but comfortable. I would stay again.

Decent clean room with basic amenities from the 60's, so DON'T expect fridge, coffee maker, microwave or fancy furniture okay?!
It's one of the cheapest motel in the area with nightly rate at $75 plus tax while others are already above $150, simple breakfast, working WiFi, hot shower, clean towel and toiletries provided.
There was an antique car show [events] during our stay and make the place busy, however the owner still keep the same price which is appreciated for our budget.
Overall, good overnight transit with 60's atmosphere.

My 5th stay in this motel. Just a simple and clean motel. The owners will not rip you off and I find them a pleasure to talk to. This motel is old school, very relaxing and quiet. I have stayed in the other motels close by but for me I prefer this one. The quality Inn up the street will provide a hot breakfast but will also charge you 30 to 60 dollars more. I am good with the coffee, juice and pastries that is provided in the Golden Manor.

Furnishings are worn and dated (think 60s) but rooms are absolutely spic and span clean. Comfortable beds with good mattresses. Great location, literally across the street from FDR's Hyde Park residence, now a National Historical Site and Museum and close to great restaurants as well as the Culinary Institute of America. The friendly Korean couple who own and run the hotel include a fresh continental breakfast: coffee, orange juice and an assortment of donuts and croissants in the lobby. Would absolutely stay again.

This isn't a fancy place, but an affordable place to sleep for the night.
