Spacious room not continental breakfast it appears as if several guest were residents. Very nice manager permitted extended stay.

I had a blast visiting Peppermill Resort, the room was big and comfortable - way too comfortable, i did not want to leave that bed. I ate in 3 different restaurants inside the hotel and the food was great in all of them, and the people were very friendly. I would 100% recommend it to someone else.

The staff was very friendly. The rooms work clean but in need of minor repair.

Our recent stay at this hotel was very disappointing. When we arrived at the hotel, we were informed that we would have one king bed instead of 2 queen beds due to sewage issues. When we entered the room, the room reeked of cigarette smoke. We are two highly allergenic individuals and immediately requested another room. The receptionist, who smokes, entered the room and declared that it smelled clean. There were no other rooms in this hotel or anywhere nearby as Rhinebeck was ongoing. We decided to open the window and gut it out. The window was so insecure, that it literally fell out of the hinges. That was comforting. We did open the windows, but unfortunately the heater didn't work. It was truly a Catch 22--freeze or breathe. We looked for a manager multiple times to discuss our issues. The managers (2 women) failed to acknowledge our concerns. They offered us 2 free coffees in the nearby restaurant; we ultimately managed to secure a small discount ($20).
