Renaissance Westchester Hotel

Love, love, love the Renaissance! I've been coming here for years since I have family that lives nearby. This is a lovely hotel nestled in the woods. The interior lobby is beautiful with a library area, bar and restaurant. The Hive serves up delicious meals and bar bites. The hotel staff is so friendly and welcoming! They enhance an already amazing experience as this hotel has fire pits outdoors, a lovely pool, tennis courts and hiking trails in the woods. The rooms are modern and the windows look out onto the forest. I truly feel that this is my home away from home in Westchester.

Stayed for 1 night and it was a really great stay! The pool was spacious and perfect for my 7 and 1 year olds, the room was clean, and the staff were amazing. They were quick to bring us extra towels and toothbrushes that I forgot to pack. The beds have reading lights attached to the headboards which is a great feature! If you're traveling with kids the crib is actually a pack and play my kid won't sleep in one so he just slept on the bed with us. Overall we had a wonderful experience and will return.

This review is based on multiple stays over the last year. This is a large hotel with the guest rooms separated from the main hotel lobby/restaurantgym. Staff is always friendly, and the service efficient. I've stayed in King and double queen rooms, and all have been comfortable and clean. The easy chairs in the rooms are comfortable. The refrigerator in the rooms is appreciated. Bathrooms are small, but functional and we'll lit. The lounge is decent sized, and has the usual Renaissance options for food & drink. The fitness center is very nice, with high quality equipment. Bottom line, it's a nice hotel to stay at.

Excellent location for our much anticipated National conference. What an amazing professional attentive staff. Outstanding facility with excellent for our physically challenged presenters and attendees. Comfortable seating with nicely decorated and inviting breakout areas. The menu and meals were top notch and beautifully presented. Comfortable rooms for our overnight guests. We will book again for our December conference.

Worst customer service I have ever witnessed in my life. My sister had a room block here for her wedding. Details were all set up and never once was there a mention of there potentially being a chance the hotel would be closed due to covid or was closed at the time of the room block. Less than 2 months before my sisters wedding they email her, not even a phone call out of respect, to let her know the hotel is closed and all the people who booked because the invites were already sent out would have to find other lodging. Let alone having to tell everyone that has booked they have to book another place we arent even sure if other places have the availabiltiy we need and we are hosting guests out of town. If you want a hotel that will wash their hands of you no problem at any given moment without a care in the world than this is the place for you. It even pains me to have to give them 1 star because it was the only way to post this warning review. Motels offer better service than this!!!!

There was a storm the night before we checked in so naturally there were some last minute changes to the amount of rooms available. The staff was very friendly and dedicated to ensuring everyone got a room as quickly as possible. We waited maybe 15 minutes for a room to be flipped could have gotten earlier but we wanted a specific room type. We took those 15 minutes and explored the hotel, everything was very clean and everyone was extremely nice. We spent time at the bar and in the gym during our stay, both were enjoyable.

I have stayed at this hotel for several years now. The staff is very accommodating. Upon during my stay during my stay my arrival I am greeted with a smile. Since I am disabled a member of the staff retrieves a wheelchair and brings me to my room. It is such a relief to know I don't have to walk the lengthy distance to my room. The front desk staff makes sure I have a handicap accessible room. During my stay if I need any assistance or things for my room I need only keep my room supplied pick up the phone and call the front desk. Chris Marta Oscar John Aaron make sure that my stay is this a I'm more than happy to assist me pleasant one. The housekeeping staff including Susie Debbie Christina Amada Irving Juan Carlos keep my room well-stocked with Linens and necessities. And when I need transportation to the lobby or back to my room Dennis David Irving Juan Carlos AR more than happy to assist me. The restaurant The Hive located in the lobby is also well staffed and a delightful dining experience. The servers including angel Nancy David Gary along with Liz the manager make sure I am served promptly. The drivers the shuttle David Jose and Arnie also assist bringing me back to my room in the lobby. This establishment is truly wonderful place to stay. I recommend it highly and thank all present there mentioned above for their kindness and consideration. They go out of their way to make my stay always a Pleasant 1. Wonderful hotel. The rooms are fairly spacious and the bedding is incredibly soft. Sometimes, if we get a suite, there's a Murphy bed which is always great because it makes the room appear gigantic. Only complaint is the layout of the hotel is awkward. The grounds and staff are always pleasant and inviting.

The facilities are in excellent condition and clearly have been kept up to date. Food at the restaurant is some of the best I have had at a hotel, and the staff are exceedingly professional and accommodating. There is the added perk that bathrooms are supplied with Aveda products, which I have never seen before. One slight draw back is some rooms are quite a walk from the lobby. The other benefits far outweigh this fact.

This place was a total disappointment. We stayed over night prior to my daughter's wedding. The rooms were not ready, the people did not put our rooms together. They corrected it, but they are totally disorganized. The rehearsal dinner was nothing special, staff was very nice, but the food stunk. We gave them 40 rooms of business last night. You would think they could treat us to a breakfast. Do not recommend this place.
