Extended Stay America White Plains - Elmsford

The room appeared to have been recently renovated. Hotel room was dirty. There was hair on the curtains, gunk on the door, wrappers behind the nightstand, and debris under the bed. We were not offered plates or utensils when we arrived, even after they asked if it was our first time staying with ESA, and did not get any until the next day. Asked for shampoo three times and never received any. The "To Go" breakfast was pathetic. No hot chocolate even after they said they would have some. Pillows were unacceptably lumpy. Did not receive a room on a higher floor as requested. No sheer on the window, when the curtains were open, those in the parking garage could see in. Daily housekeeping is not included with nightly fee.

My wife and I went to stay here with our cat for a few days while our apartment was having some work done to it. Pet charge was $25 extra per night. Room was clean and well maintained and they have a free parking garage on the property. There's no frills to this place, but it's decently priced and right next to 87/287. There's also a diner right down the street if you need to eat, although our room also had a kitchen.

In the lobby there's a big WELCOME sign and that's exactly what you fell genuinely Welcomed. They treat you more like a friend than a client. Clean and comfortable rooms with money saving kitchenette, laundry room, exercise room and free 'Grab and Go' breakfast. For a economic well situation and friendly atmosphere I would recommend this place to friends and family.

Was working all night long and didn't get to the hotel til about 5 am. I got about 3 or 4 hrs of sleep and then the fire alarms starting going off. So I take all of my stuff down to my truck and find out they are just testing the systems. It would've been nice to notify everyone that the testing was going to happen. The alarms have been going on and off for a while now and I won't be able to sleep before I have to go work in a couple hours.

Bad staff, but not all. Breakfast here is very bad. They only offer muffins, oats and snack bars.
