Doral Arrowwood Resort

I spent two nights at this location for a few days of company off-site meetings. Our group was 200 employees from all over the world. The event space and meeting rooms were high quality with a nice variety of room types including university style classrooms. The snacks and break areas were well stocked with a nice variety. The wifi worked well. The guest rooms themselves and the hallway carpet are a bit dated. The layout of the hotel leads to a lot of walking between the guest rooms to the meeting rooms. On-site meals were satisfactory. We were here during autumn and the changing leaves and scenery were a nice addition.

This once beautiful resort unfortunately now appears to be run down. Wallpaper was peeling, there were stains on the bathroom wall, the hallway needed to be vacuumed, the elevator was dirty and shook back and forth as it went up and down. We were awakened several times during the night by kids running and shouting down the hallway and folks in the room next door. The walls are very thin. On a positive note the breakfast buffet was delicious. We didn't use the pool but it looked beautiful.

Golf course, tennis course, ping pong, pools, arcade, driving range, and pub has billiards. So lots to do. Breakfast is a wonderful buffett with fresh ingredients and a nice view of the course. (whether breakfast is included seems to vary but it's not expensive anyway)

My first time there. The employees were very welcoming, they engaged with us and nothing was out of place. We had an amazing time at our company party. Highly recommended.

Nice place for company holiday party, but needs more accessible entrance for guest parking. On a freezing cold night, we had to walk a long way down a hill in the dark to get to the main entrance as the rear entrance was shut. Knowing there was a big event scheduled (as well as another going on at the same time) they should have had someone at the second entrance.
