RBC Royal Bank

Went to this branch to pay a family member's Visa bill since they were out of town. I had the statement with me and informed the teller I was paying it for someone else. She said that she had to charge me a fee because I was paying it for someone else. I said that wasn't fair, so she got her manager. The manager came and told me something similar, asked for my ID, and proceeded to fiddle around on the computer for a bit. She (the manager) then asked, "you don't have any accounts with us?", to which I responded that I did, in fact, have a chequeing account. The manager then exclaimed "so you are an RBC customer! You are an RBC customer!" She was indignant and her tone was aggressive. I didn't (and still don't) know what that meant. She then told me that "next time you should know if you're an RBC customer!" I said that I knew that I was but simply wasn't asked. She shook her head as she proceeded to process the payment. I have paid other people's bills on occasion at other banks, including other RBC branches. Never have I, in any remote capacity, been met with such confusing and callous treatment at a bank. The experience is almost too comical to be upset, but it definitely warrants an honest review.

Staff is not accommodating at all if you are not an Asian person with a Gucci bag. Waited in line for 30 minutes, its finally my turn, this Asian lady comes out of nowhere and cuts in front of me and the clerk tells me sorry do you mind, yes I do mind so she asked one of her colleague to pass me. Even that advisor was not dressed professionally anyways I guess its just a trend now that customer service at RBC branches sucks everywhere.

Always had very quick and polite service at this branch. Approachable staffs that are warm and welcoming. The branch has a modern design that looks up to date.

alice phan tricks you in a sneaky way . tricked you to sign and purchase insurance that is not necessary ....... be careful this person. .....

Great service, every time. I have two issues with this branch: 1. Inconvenient entrance from where I park my car... this is especially bad in the winter and rainy and windy days. 2. The wait times are so so so long. I never had a visit with less than 15-20mins of waiting times.
