Rawdon Gold Mines Variety & Campgrounds

They have everything you may need in one place and if they don't have it, the owner will definitely get it in for you quickly. The owner and staff are awesome Great country store, reminiscent of the stores from a bygone era. Love it ,I need to upgrade this review because I thought I was actually describing the Center Rawdon country store, my mistake, however, this store is also a good one, convenient,and sells alcohol which you can't buy at the country store, just doesn't have the variety of the Center Rawdon country store with the exception of the alcohol lol.

Where do I start with the place? At the beginning I guess, heh When my step-mother took me here for the first time, I bloody loved the place, so every time it opened up in Spring, I went there every single weekend, and I still love it to this day. The people here are incredibly nice, so say hi when you see them, they probably will say hello back! There's a nice lake to go fishing at and to swim as well, but if you're not into swimming in lakes, they also got a nice little pool to take a nice dip for a little while! There's also great staff that will help you out with pretty much everything! I definitely think you should go here if you're thinking of glamping spots, or to just take a tent out!

I have been camping here since I was 5 moved away came back and still loved it the people are sweet and helpful the activities that go on sometimes a great letting zoo for labour Day weekend a nice country night with a band it's a really great place.

Way over priced everything is over priced $11.00 for a case of water , alcohol prices are marked up but staff are awesome.

It's the best campground I have visited in Nova Scotia...it has everything and the people are so friendly

Great convenience store, has lots of basic items you would need, fresh made sandwiches, frozen meats and of course liquor!

So many changes at RGM in the last 5 years, this is truly a great family campground. Lots of kids activities, swimming in the lake or pool, new rec hall, too many upgrades to list them all... Come see for yourself

I didn't go in but I parked here and watched all the crazies do their thing. Hours of quality entertainment
