Riverland Campground and R.V. Park

I am not a patron of this camp site so my rating is based on conversation with my host who absolutely loved spending the summer there. Riverland has a pool, playground and laundry facility for its patrons. There are varying activities and the patrons seemed to share fun and camaraderie. As a guest a small fee is to be paid and your car is parked by the main hall at the entrance

Extremely poor and they have a dog breed specific ban. It makes it quite hard to recommend any place that deny access to certain pets but yet still call themselves a family campground. My pets are part of my family and I will certainly never step foot here

Stayed there years ago 2016, had a good time. Was looking to book again, but won't be happening since they banned certain breeds of dogs Pitbulls, Rotweillers, Dobermans, or German Shepards. Will enjoy the many other dog friendly campgrounds instead.

Can't give it any higher rating as I will never be allowed to take my dog there. He's a good boy who's never even hurt a fly. Yet they let small yappy little beasts there that are more likely to bite statistically proven, Weiner dog, Chihuahuas and a few other small breeds are considered the most vicious. Also. They can't even seem to spell the breeds right of the ones they're banning. If you can't accept my large but super sweet pitty then I can't accept you.

It is very sad that they have a breed ban against certain dogs. In the year of 2022 we shouldn't be discriminating against a dog just because of how they look. Absolutely disgusting and pathetic. If I could rate 0 stars, I would.

"Pet friendly" but breed specific? Shows total ignorance since dog behavior is dependent on the owner not the breed. Disappointed to see this especially in a province where there are no bans on specific breeds.

I camp here seasonally... love it and the little community. They are all very welcoming. The pictures are of the river running through the campground.

Very nice staff, activities, swimming pool, just lovely experience, my kidds had the best summer ever.

The fact your discriminate certain dog breeds is disgusting, any dog has the ability to attack someone. Fyi you should learn to spell breeds right.
