Falls lake Campground

Falls lake is a beautiful area with plenty to do , with great cabins all year long and a large recreation building which includes a small but hardy canteen , ice , wood and propane. The lake is fabulous with boating available from the lodge. Staff are very friendly and they go out of there way to make you feel welcome. The down fall is the camping area , not enough room to back in some sites as some sites are uneven. Water and power can be located on the wrong side and ground conditions are muddy at times. The main road in is 5 kms long and all gravel so dust or mud can be an issue if your a clean freak like myself. But the positives can out weigh the negatives so try it for yourself.

The cabins are fantastic with an exception. The beds and couches are for for the trash. I found the bed uncomfortable akin to sleeping on rocks and the couch has springs popping out of it. That negative aside, it is truly beautiful there. Falls Lake is gorgeous and there are some walking trails to explore as well. Prices are very reasonable, especially if you qualify for the military discount.

Been coming here for 9 yrs. Beautiful lake! Great for swimming, canoeing, fishing. Cabins are nice and staff are friendly.

If you are looking to walk your stuff to cabin from parking lot to a cabin that you are not aloud fire until 7pm at night, this is an amazin spot! I agree every place has its ruls but they are not on front page of website and of course they are in fine print. Moreover remember to bring sheets cause they rent beds with no beddings so they can force you into paying for something you never thought of bringing when you pay for beds, right?
