Reviews

A large park well located for easy access to Halifax and the coves to the south.  The average sized 3 way sites are set between medium sized trees.  Some sites are more open than others.  You can hear the soft drone of the road while outside your RV but I did not find it annoying.  The bathhouses are modern, clean, and functional.  The small shop offers ice and other camping essentials.  There is a pool and laundry.  I would use them again if in the area.

This was our first time out with our new pop up trailer. We experienced some issues with our trailer , hiccups and we were helped by staff. Did not get their names but are employed there. They were resourceful, helpful and totally professional. We can't say enough praises the Customer Service we received. The bathrooms were amazingly clean and fresh. The pool was an added bonus. A very friendly and family oriented RV Park. From the moment we arrived, registered and were shown to our site we felt welcomed. Thank you again. Kudos!!!

Nice big size lots for larger rig.  Close to go in and out of town if needed.  Campground was just opening up for the season- didn’t feel like they had a lot of time to chat with campers but I will assume they had a lot going on.nnThey were awesome to let a few of us in a night earlier.  Washrooms were clean.  Pool wasn’t operational yet it was still cold/rainy.  Laundry room is quite cold on the cooler days so make sure you have a jacket/sweater.  Some of the machines could use a little TLC.  Dryers were 48 minutes but some of the clothes still were not dry and our clothes are usually dry within30 minutes this was our 92nd campsite in 2 years so we have something to compare it to ;0 nnLots of room to walk your dog or just go for a walk.  Some full timers but lots were kept fairly clean.

Can't recommend this place enough. Clean, friendly and helpful. The proximity to Halifax and surrounding areas couldn't be more convenient. The owners were hospitable and attentive. Looking forward to my next stay!

We stayed here for 3 nights in June while our boys had Hockey Camp at the arena in Tantallon  only 9 min drive  . The staff were super friendly and helpful ! The pool was clean and warm . The staffs son facilitated us being able to watch the Stanley cup finals game 6 which made for some VERY happy people in our travel trailer   quiet , everyone was friendly , facilities very clean !nnIt truly is a hidden Gem ! Close to the city  but nice camping atmosphere !
