Ramen Danbo

I recently visited Ramen Danbo Robson and really enjoyed the experience overall. The ramen was rich, flavorful, and perfectly customizable to my preference. The broth had great depth without being overly salty, and the noodles had that ideal firm texture. The chashu was tender and satisfying, and the portion size was just right.nnThe service was efficient and friendly, and the atmosphere felt lively and authentic.nnThe only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the ventilation — it wasn’t quite strong enough, and the space got a bit stuffy during peak hours. With better airflow, it would easily be a 5-star spot.nnStill, a solid place for a comforting bowl of ramen in downtown Vancouver!

Heard about this place and had to try it out. Tried the classic tonkotsu ramen which is one of my favourites. You can customize the type of noodles you want as well as the firmness. You can also choose add-ons such as seaweed, extra pork, ramen egg etc. The ramen was delicious and would recommend to give this place a try. It always seems to have a line up outside and for good reason. The line moves quickly and the ramen doesn’t disappoint. Worth the wait even in the rain.

A busy location so best to arrive early and be ready to wait in line for 5-15 minutes depending on the day.nnThe staff are friendly and they do their best to accommodate for the high demand by having you fill out your order while you wait and to leave promptly after finishing your meal to free up a seat for others.nnThe most authentic ramen in Canada, directly comparable to the taste you get from Hakata ramen in Japan

There's always a long line at this place downtown, but it's definitely worth the wait! The ramen is absolutely delicious, and the service is quite fast, even when the restaurant is busy.nnThe only downside is that the tables aren't particularly comfortable. Mine felt slightly uneven, and I was genuinely worried that my bowl of soup might slide off and end up on my lap.nnOne thing I really liked is that you can customize your ramen from A to Z before entering the restaurant. If you're not sure what to choose, I've attached a photo of my order as a recommendation.

While staying in Vancouver we have passed dozens of times in front of Ramen Dobson and always were puzzled on how many people were waiting inline. Tonight passing late, the line was not long and though we have already had dinner, decided to have a take out. After filling a very simple selection order, waited for about 10-15 min for the take out inside the restaurant. It felt very authentic and waiters were very efficient.nI can say that the food was very much worth waiting. Every single bite was very tasty and my wife in particular enjoyed the broth edible myself the fried rice and pork. The egg was also very tasty.nI would probably go again tomorrow, hopefully will be back in time from our trip.nRecommended.
