Ramen Danbo

YUMMY!!! We tried the ramen here for the very first time, and it was soo yummy. You’re able to customize basically everything to your liking noodles, spice, broth and toppings… which was great! Highly recommend the original tonkotsu broth! The flavour was amazing with strong yet not overpowering flavour! Surprisingly worth the wait in line, which honestly wasn’t too bad since service was quick as well! Staff were very friendly and helpful as well!!

I would like to review Danbo Ramen restaurant on Robson street. This restaurant specializes in Fukuoka style donkotsu ramen.nThe ordering process is similar to Ichiran ramen in Japan, where you can customize your preferred noodle texture, thickness of broth, amount of spicy sauce etc.nYou can also add extra toppings such as chashu, onsen egg, nori etc.nThe broth is rich, savoury and flavourful but can get a bit heavy towards the end. I would rate it 8 out of 10.nService was good but basic, also 8 out of 10.nI would recommend to everyone.

Some of the best ramen I’ve ever had.nnSuper worth the wait. I came at 7 pm and waited about 20 minutes. This place is very efficient, and since you can fill out your order sheet in line, I got my soup less than 5 minutes after sitting down.nnThe classic tonkotsu was flavourful and rich. I got medium spice which was very reasonable and not overly hot.

Exceptional ramen! Everything from the broth, egg and noodles were so well-cooked and seasoned. The pork slices were so soft and fresh, the broth was rich and the noodles were perfectly chewy. Understandably crowded and busy elbow-to-elbow seating arrangement with a lineup out the door, but well worth the wait. Service was fast despite the crowd.

Strolling on Robson Street in the evening, I noticed there was long line here outside this ramen shop. There's no reservations or a wait list here. You simply wait outside with your whole party and once the queue reaches the door, you will get seated. We decided to come back in the morning for lunch since it will be less crowded.nnWe were among the first in line at 11am and was promptly seated. The prices were pretty good and the portions are large. The noodles had great texture. The broth was balanced. The toppings were delicious. This was an excellent bowl of ramen! The servers were friendly and efficient. I agree with everyone else, the was the best ramen in Vancouver!
