Cactus Club Cafe Coal Harbour

Came for dinner after an event at the convention centre next door. The place was very busy on a Sunday night around 6:30. We waited around 5 minutes for a table of 2. We were seated in the heated patio section they do ask if you prefer indoors or if the heated patio is alright before you're seated. We did find the patio chillier than expected, so would prefer inside next time around. The food was as expected. The Med Bowl with falafel and grilled shawarma chicken $25.50 was hearty, and is always a favourite with its various elements and colours like the beetroot hummus and turmeric rice. The Tuna Poke Bowl $26.75 was fine. I wish it had more of the actual poke, but it did include a generous amount of avocado. The mango was not very ripe, so the diced pieces were a bit sour in taste. Definitely wished they were sweeter.nnService was friendly and they're accommodating on menu requests i.e. no olives or ginger. They were out of quite a few menu items, which were detailed by our server before ordering. Overall, a good dinner and food came out quickly.

I live in Montreal and we don’t have a Cactus Club there — please open one soon! Every time I visit Vancouver, this is my go-to spot for food and drinks. Absolutely love it! Tried the crab dip for the first time in my life and I’m obsessed — it was honestly the best dip ever! All the food was amazing, and the drinks were just as good. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful.nThe staff were so sweet, friendly, and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. The vibe of the place is fun, lively, and perfect for a night out.

I came here for lunch with a friend and had a really great time. Our server was amazing, the drinks were good, and the food was enjoyable overall.nnThe Creole cream spinach dip must be new, I’ve never had it before, and it’s a must try. We liked it so much that we ordered a second one.nnThe salmon aburi was disappointing. It used to be a bigger portion and much better, but this time it just wasn’t as good.nnThe mushroom striploin, with added Creole prawns, was excellent. Both the steak and the prawns were cooked perfectly and tasted great.nnTo finish, we had the eggnog cheesecake and the six layer chocolate cake, both were absolutely to die for and the perfect ending to the meal!

Went for dinner on a Friday night without a reservation and only waited about 10 minutes there’s a waiting area, which helps. The service isn’t outstanding but it’s perfectly acceptable.nnI ordered the Chipotle Chicken Tacos, which rarely disappoint. That said, the tortillas are not great I’m Mexican, so I notice these things but for most people they’ll probably be fine.nnThe atmosphere is lively and works well for a casual dinner or going out with friends. Nice lighting and a good overall vibe. Solid option if you’re around Canada Place and want something reliable.

We came to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and our server Kale was amazing! He was so attentive and so kind!! The only negative part of the meal was when another server brought out the happy birthday dessert. She was quite rude, didn’t even ask who the birthday dessert was for and of course didn’t even wish a happy birthday to my daughter. She just brought it out and dumped it on the corner of the table and left.nnKale came by and wished a happy birthday to my daughter and also when we were leaving. He definitely deserves a shoutout!nnMy 4 star for the service was because of the other server who brought out the birthday dessert.nnFood was delicious and the steaks were cooked perfectly!
