Story

Our menu features new Cactus classics designed by executive chef Rob Feenie including our Chicken Crunch Burger, Beach Burger, Veggie Burger, Tenders and Fries, and Fish Taco which can be perfectly paired with chips and salsa, guacamole or yam and regular fries.

We're open daily from 12-5 and even later on busy days!

We are in Vancouver celebrating our Honeymoon and wanted somewhere special to really mark our occasion. The Cactus Club Cafe really stood out for us.nnWe arrived and the host acknowledged our booking notes. Our only disappointment was that they did not reserve us a window seat with a view.nnJosh was our waiter and he could not have been more friendly, attentive and fun. My wife has an intolerance to onion and Josh understood the assignment and made sure there was no onion in her dishes.nnThe food is insanely good here, as we both opted for steak. The cuts were perfectly cooked. To finish off the night, we were kindly presented with a cheesecake on the house. This was a very kind touch and we were so grateful.nnI would recommend a visit here: the atmosphere is really good with some great songs played; and is overall good value for money!
Went there on a windy, chilly weekday afternoon at around 12:40 p.m. with some friends visiting Vancouver. There were four of us with a doggie. We were told by a waitress that dogs were not allowed inside the restaurant of course I know, & I did not have an intention to sit inside.nI pointed to the outdoor sitting area and she said that the outdoor sitting area was not available yet. She seemed wanting to turn us away. I asked the lady then when it would be available and she replied : at 1 p.m. So, around only 20 minutes later!?nThat lady gave me an impression that we were not very welcomed because we had our dog with us.nWe still decided to have lunch there so we were back after 20 minutes, at 1 p.m.. Since our dog had to be tied outside the sitting area, we made our orders and finished the meals in quite a hurry manner.nDuring the dining, the server, Ryan, was very friendly and attentive. He came to our table asking if everything was ok for a few times with great smiles. Kudos to him!nThe burgers we ordered were tasty with fresh ingredients. Coffee was also good.nAs for the environment, with the fantastic view, nothing has to be complained.
Cactus at English Bay offers breathtaking scenery, especially during sunset—it’s simply stunning. The food, as always, is exceptional and consistently well-executed. The service is warm and attentive. A big thank you for a wonderful experience!
We chose Cactus Club for our Valentine’s Day date, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience! We reserved a window table through their website—though we’re not sure if this option is always available or just for special occasions. However, for tables with an ocean view, you do need to order from their full-course menu.nnFrom the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel special, welcoming us with a complimentary glass of champagne.nnWe started with the kale salad, which had a perfect balance of salty and tangy flavors. The crispy chickpeas added a nice crunch, enhancing the texture beautifully.nnThen we had the butternut squash ravioli, which was absolutely exceptional—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.nnFor the main course we had the chicken parmesan was also delicious, with a crispy, well-seasoned crust and tender, juicy chicken.nnTo top off the evening, we indulged in the key lime pie, which was the perfect sweet and tangy ending to an incredible night.nnOverall, the food, service, and ambiance exceeded our expectations, making it a truly memorable Valentine’s Day dinner. We’ll definitely be back!
Great restaurant to visit, especially when it is sunset. We were there around 4 p.m., and Isabella was our waitress . She is excellent and very friendly and pleasant. We ordered sushi and French fried. What we liked about our order was fresh and great. Also, we ordered beers , and there were happy hours from 2 till 4. We will be back again to Canada.
