Story

Our menu features new Cactus classics designed by executive chef Rob Feenie including our Chicken Crunch Burger, Beach Burger, Veggie Burger, Tenders and Fries, and Fish Taco which can be perfectly paired with chips and salsa, guacamole or yam and regular fries.

We're open daily from 12-5 and even later on busy days!

Cactus Club Cafe – English Bay is all about the view. The food is fairly consistent, and there are usually a few vegan options right on the menu, with some dishes that can be modified.nnThat said, I had an incident with staff who argued with me about my Service Animal’s task, insisting their internal rules somehow superseded that — which isn’t a thing. Oh well. There are several nearby restaurants with equally great water views that I choose to patronize now instead.nnAside from that experience, it’s normally a pretty good time. It’s a lively location, especially during the summer months, and they have one of the earlier and longer Happy Hours.nnOne important note if you’re vegan: make sure staff actually know their product. The first time I went, I was told the guac and chips were vegan. Another visit, staff warned me there’s dairy in the dish that can’t be excluded — so yes, I ate dairy. Ugh.
We came to this Cactus Club location on January 24th 2026. We were a party of 10, and Azra was our server. She was so so amazing and accommodating to our party! We are a group of teenagers that were celebrating a birthday and azra served our food quick, remembered our orders, and even gave recommendations for dessert and entrees. She made our night so much better with her energy and enthusiasm. Azrangave the birthday girl a cheesecake as well .. like wow talk about next level service. 100% need to give azra a raise. I usually don’t go to this location because of how inconvenient the area is but after tonight’s interaction I will definitely be back.
This location is a gem and the dining room staff are very accommodating. Fresh ingredients as you’ll see in my photos. There was a blip with our dessert but the manager more than corrected it for us. Definitely recommend!
Great all around, really nice views and aesthetic interior thats perfect for a nice little hangout whether you want to be indoors or outdoors. They have a great open air patio with a good view of the water. Their food is always consistent, not amazing but not bad either. Good for small to medium large sized groups, nothing notable about the food but the view makes the whole meal better. We've been a few times and sometimes the service can be a little slow and some staff may be a little brisk, not exactly rude but not friendly either.
The cuisine was exceptional; thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. While the service was pleasant, it felt slightly understaffed for the volume of guests. The location offers stunning views, and the ambiance perfectly complements the experience. Highly recommended.
