Radisson Hotel Cheyenne

I was here for a pool tournament that is at this location every year. It has pretty recently changed from a Holiday Inn to a Radisson property. I did recognize some of the same staff which was nice. The rooms are very nice with small refrigerator and microwave. The only thing I can complain about is the staff in the restaurant!... It wasn't busy at the time we were there... Maybe like 6 tables... They had more than enough staff and it looked like 2 good wait persons with a good table busser could of handled it but yet I thought it looked like most were standing around or just trying to look busy!... In my opinion even if the place was packed... 4 good wait persons should have been able to handle it...

This Radisson needs some serious attention and upgrades. Rooms look clean, but just have dirty feel due to the age of furniture and wallpaper. The chair in my room showed significant arm wear as some pretty shady looking stains. The AC unit makes a lot of noise but struggles to cool the room. I had it on 62 and it would for 60 seconds then turn off. Rinse and repeat. All the while I’m trying to sleep 10 feet away wondering why it’s shutting off when the room is no where near cool. I was in a West room and couldn’t drown out the interstate noise even with the AC fan. I’ve been here twice for seminars and each time our room was freezing. Day one, 8am, room started at 57! Only made it to 62 by 500pm even after multiple attempts by staff to solve problem. They open panels from adjacent room to try and let in heat from that room come into this one. Didn’t work and by the end of the day people were still in full jackets and the hotel had brought in some plug in fireplaces to see if it would help. Ultimately for $90 a night the cost vs benefit isn’t quite up to par. Staff was very helpful with conference room issues and solutions and kept this review from being one star.

I stayed near the pool area, it was ok. They have huge comfy beds and I was able to sleep well. The staff is nice but the breakfast was horrible everything was fine but the breakfast they should not be serving food like that. Made me sick for a day.

Easy to find, plenty of parking, beautiful at first glance! Here and there you can tell the building is getting a little old, probably needs an update/remodel at some point. But nothing terrible. Pool was a nice temperature. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pretty good experience, all told :)

Spent a couple of nights here a few weeks back, and then again a couple weeks later, overall good experiences. Not a bad hotel, rooms were nice for the price. Staff was great, and were more than helpful with my accommodations. I would definitely recommend this hotel for short term stays.
