The best dumplings of my life! These dumplings are like little clouds of juicy joy. We ate the deliciously savory lamb and coriander and the shrimp and pork. We contemplated bring some frozen dumplings home, but we live so close we can pop in anytime. However, we already have plans to go back this weekend for Lunar New Year.Recommended dishesSteamed Dumplings and Pan Fried Dumplings, Spicy Cabbage Kimchi, Steamed, Shrimp Pork and Leek
I went here for my birthday and had a wonderful time. I would recommend making a reservation ahead of time, as the restaurant gets very busy. We ordered the shrimp, pork, and leek dumplings, as well as the beef and truffle dumplings. They came out very quickly and they were absolutely delicious. I would also recommend getting a tea; the presentation is beautiful. Getting one tea for two people was perfect. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and I would come back again.
These soup dumplings are very flavorful. And even though you get 12 dumplings per order, they go down so easily that multiple orders are needed. The lamb skewers was also well done, was nicely spiced. However, dumplings are difficult to mess up, which brings me to the price-point. Its a bit overpriced for my taste. There are many places that serve just as good dumplings but with 2 orders and skewer, it was $60. Its a good experience but I know i can find less expensive alternatives.
Amazing! Definitely not a calm atmosphere, but the dumplings were out of this world! We had the cold braised beef app, steamed truffle and beef dumplings, and fried lamb and dill dumplings. Everything was incredible, but the lamb and dill stole the show in my opinion. Quick and efficient service, and even though they may have a line out the door, the wait time was quite short. 10/10 would recommend if you're looking for great dumplings!
The dumplings here in Chinatown are delicious! Definitely lived up to the hype from the other reviews. We were seated immediately once we entered, and waters were provided to us right away. Service was excellent. The dumplings were even better. The beef ones were the best and we got them pan-fried. Highly recommended!
Some of the best soup dumplings I’ve ever had. We got 48 dumplings for two people and gorged. Beef and onion steamed were my favorite. Great service and fast. Delicious and unique potato salad too. Cucumber salad was more like pickles.
Such a unique ambiance and Chinese culture. We were seated very quickly and the staff was all very attentive with the service. We ordered the spicy cabbage kimchi, beef & truffle steamed dumplings, and shrimp, pork and leek fried dumplings and all I can say was the meal was delicious and light and we enjoyed every bite! Will definitely come again.
Good place for dumplings, as they were flavorful and well cooked, but I found them to be quite pricey with each steamed basket of dumplings costing $16-20. The ambiance is good, but the experience did feel a little rushed as the servers hovered to quickly take our order. There were also a lot of items on the menu that were out of stock or "not in season", yet they were still included in the online menu. It would be nice to have these removed or a more up-to-date menu so customers don't have to guess at what items are still available. On a high note, they did offer some good chili oil, vinegar, and soy sauce for dipping.
My son took me here for lunch before we took in a Cubs game parking in the lot across the street from the restaurant was $16 for the day, and right on the red line where we caught the "L" to the game. This was my first time having steamed dumplings and they did not disappoint. So fresh and flavorful added a smidge of chili oil to my soy sauce. They were just amazing. Since we knew we would be eating at the game as well we split an order of 12 dumplings between the 2 of us. Highly recommend the dumplings here. Parking: Several parking lots across the street. We paid $16 for all day parking.
A great place for dumplings on a cold day! So many options to choose from and they serve them three different ways - steamed, boiled, and fried. I made the biggest regret of not getting the fried version but steamed dumplings are my absolute favorite. We ordered lamb & coriander 8/10 and pork & leek 9/10. Both were so juicy, flavorful, hot, and delicious! Split between two people, our two orders were super filling without any appetizers and sides. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone craving hot and steamy dumplings!
