There was a time when I enjoyed my food, however now it’s getting worse, the food and customer service. I am thinking maybe it was an off day but NO that is not the case. I am done with the location in Bronzeville , also when I ordered Uber eats they gave me what they wanted me have and not the food I ordered.
This was my first experience at Just Turkey Restaurant. I use Google to find a local barbecue spot and turkey is what I was looking for specifically. The prices are pretty reasonable and I ordered a large turkey tip and a link/tip combo. Because I was not from the area, I decided that I wanted to try the jerk turkey burger as well. The jerk turkey burger had great flavor, however it was a little bit dry. The turkey tips were amazing! The barbecue sauce that came on a turkey tips was perfect and the fries were also drizzled with the barbecue sauce. Everything I ordered came with slices of bread on a bed of fries. I would definitely recommend Just Turkey restaurant and I will surely be back to visit. No one was dining in, however I could tell that it is usually packed because it was constant stream of customers coming in the door while I waited. The cashier was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of all the products. You must try them at least once while in the city. Thanks for the great experience!
this place used to sell really good food when they first opened. today i purchased 12 flour soft hell tacos. The shells were hard, the meat was over seasoned. My kids and I couldnt enjoy it at all. Spent 46 dollars. the only thing that was ok were the fries. The place was smokey as hell. couldnt even wait inside for my order. wasted money. I will not be returning. also when i walked in no one was in back but the cook. He didn't even greet me. Piss poor customer service. my advice is check and taste your food before you walk out. 43 and cottage Grove location Chicago
Ordered a small regular & jerk turkey tip. The jerk sauce is on the side so you can make it as hot as you like. Overall not bad and would order again.
A solid 2 out of 10. I love burgers & was very disappointed in this. It was soooo dry, barely any sauce. The size of the patties were great, but little to no sauce? Y’all coulda did better than that. I also ordered a turkey taco. It was small, too many onions. Cheese fries , fries were too soft as in they were not cooked all the way. Cheese sauce tasted old. I ordered cheese sauce a lot, none were like this. Taco was the only “eh” thing that made me say 2/10.
There was a lot of activity outside the place to the point I felt unsafe for my family so I left the parking lot quickly!
Tha food was delicious but the atmosphere was horrible. People who visit hanging around the place. Some staff and visitors talking loud using profanity. The tables where someone ate earlier was dirty. hard leftover food particles on the table. Local derilects walking in and out. Someone needs to tell the staff about a word called professionalism.
Good food. Great prices. I had the turkey spinach lasagna. It needs more spinach but it was delicious. My mom had the turkey tips she said they were tender and tasty. The only downside is the parking. They in a very small strip with about 5 store fronts each with 2 parking spots each. Will be back to try more items from their menu
The jerk Turkey tips are amazing!! With the mild sauce on the fries? Mmmmm DELICIOUS. And they’re quick!Food: 5/5
My first time going and I order a turkey nacho and they gave me more chips than they gave me meat barely lettuce and 50 cent for sour cream I’m highly dissatisfied
