Prairie Boy Bread

Just awesome. Well worth the visit even if you have to cross the entire city. Totally recommended!

I visited Prairie Boy today. The sandwhich I bought was wholesome and delicious and made like a family member would make. That's rare. When I walked in, the owner and manager was holding a team meeting, the entire meeting seemed casual and the owner talked openly about how well each of his staff were doing and how their hard work was positively impacting the capacity of the entire business. I could feel the positive vibration, and I could see how this message effected the staff's (girls and guys) feelings and energy. Prairie Boy isn't in my neighbourhood, but I will make an effort to go back for that kind of management and product quality. Toronto is lucky to have them.

I basically only eat bread from Prairie Boy, which I have to travel across town for. It means I don’t eat bread that often, but also means I now have ridiculously high standards for bread

Delicious bread. Helpful and friendly staff. Nice selection of other goods (bespoke butchers charcuterie and sausages, cheese, sauces, etc.)
