Mabel's is the best neighbourhood bakery to visit when in need of fresh bread, pastries, or a variety of lunch and charcuterie board items. It's a very popular place to visit first thing in the morning so come by before noon to have the best chance at getting the fresh bread or pastries. Croissants and danishes here are a favorite of nearly everyone in the area so come early to make sure you don't miss out.

I’ve eaten a lot of croissants throughout my life, in a lot of places, including Montreal and several places in France, and this is actually the best croissant I’ve ever had. All the right ratios of crispy/flakey/buttery/soft. And they have amazing vegan and gluten free options! (You know, for when you’ve eaten too many croissants and need to scale it back a notch.)

Delicious baked goods, savoury and sweet options! Desserts are always a crowd pleaser: brownies, mini cheesecake, orange blondies, date squares, lemon tarts (my personal favourite, with a tart topping and shortbread bottom), rocky road bars and more. Cupcakes aren't my fave here. They also have savoury options like freshly baked bread, quiche, cold salads, wraps and soup stock. Also good for a coffee on the go!

Homemade and fresh goodies....Pies have great crust.... Delicious peach pies in the summer and their pumpkin pies at harvest time are great

i would have shopped again but when i bought expensive bread i received have of it after it went through the slicer...not cool
