At Phipps, we love everything about great desserts and food. We love to make it. We love to eat it. And we delight in the pleasure that it gives to all our customers.

Selling good food is not just business for us—it’s our way of expressing what we stand for and our long time commitment to our customers. Our products are always all-natural, no mixes or additives, and all made from scratch right here at our little bakery. Choose from a daily selection of over 100 different fresh baked items, from cookies, tarts and squares to soups, salads and sandwiches and breads.

I've always been happy with the food and the service here. It's very busy at lunch time as they offer a variety of fresh and healthy food options. They are baked goods are quite good too. They has a lot of prepared foods that you can take away, so it's great for meal planning. Be aware that the prices are expensive, but the quality does not disappoint.

The moment you walk in to this beautiful bakery/cafe you're met with the most incredible aroma. The baking smells absolutely irresistible and tastes sooo fresh and delicious. I always get the apple crumble and chocolate chip cookies, and have tried multiple other items - everything is top notch!

Got a cake from here for my birthday, rating is solely based on cake flavour. Purchased the Mama’s chocolate cake and it wasn’t disappointing but it also wasn’t great. The cake needed to be more moist. It was very dense. It was sweetened lightly which I enjoyed. The icing/fudge was also very heavy and didn’t compliment the cake well. The cake is marketed as “layered chocolate cake” but when cut, the cake had a sad singular layer of icing in the middle. Perhaps I chose the wrong cake for my preferences but I overall wasn’t completely satisfied. Pricing is fine, same as a cake from a grocery store.

Went in after having a morning wedding appointment next door at Eglinton Grand. It was a great place to sit down and do some work and was the perfect noise level. Had their Oatmeal Spice and Banana muffins which were massive, then vegetarian pizzettes for lunch. Quaint and cozy spot, would definitely recommend for small groups or pairs.

Cute bakery with delicious breads & deserts. There is also a convenient lunch takeout counter located in the back of the store.
