This place is a gem! Serano Bakery on Pape in Toronto has such a great selection of baked goods and treats. I came in for cheesecake which was rich, creamy, and about $6.50 solid portion, but ended up leaving with way more. They have cannoli, butterfly cookies, fresh cheeses, and even gelato!nnThe setup is simple, grab a number when you walk in and take a look around while you wait. The line moves pretty fast, and the staff are super efficient. Everything is well-organized, and the displays make it easy to spot what you want.nnAlso love that there’s free parking right in front around 10 spots. It’s a busy area, but cars come and go quickly, so it wasn’t too hard to get a spot.nnOverall, great service, fair prices, and delicious options. I’ll definitely be back.

Lots of free parking, went during the weekday. Very open, plenty of display cases, huge selection, staff are great, prices are reasonable for what we bought. Definitely hitting this place up again when in the area.

Serano Bakery has a huge selection of delicious-looking sweets—it’s hard to choose! We picked up a few items to try, including the mini pistachio baklava round phyllo nests soaked in honey syrup, filled with pistachio cream and crushed pistachios and a kataifi tray angel hair phyllo rolled with almonds, soaked in honey syrup. Both were rich, sweet, and full of flavor. We also enjoyed the mango and coconut gelato—refreshing and creamy. Parking is a bit tight, but the friendly service and incredible variety make it worth the visit.

Had a great time here, I only bought the pie, cookie and box of treats. They had given us some extra goodies due it being almost closing time. Everything was great and was a good price. I’ve also had their cakes and it was so delicious. Yum yum in my tum!!
