Hidden gem! This bakery offers delicious brunch on the weekend with unique items such as mushroom and black truffle terrine (brioche bread pudding).The coffee is noteworthy as well. Unlike super popular places that have been featured on websites like BlogTO, this bakery remains less widely known and is primarily frequented by locals. No waiting an hour to get a table at Sugar Loaf Bakery! Highly recommend. Great price point and friendly staff too.

I love this place. The staff is very pleasant and friendly, the food is delicious and the coffee is on point. If you sit for a while, you can tell this is a local favourite as locals stream in for their morning coffee. I travel from the Toronto core just to come hang out here. Great spot to read a book or get a bit of work done too.

This cafe has a different feel to it. They have made a good change from the Starbucks which was at this location. French toast with guava flavoured jam and a strong coffee. That is how you start your day. Fits in with the area.

The breakfast sandwiches here are perfect, Croissants light and crispy and the coffee is usually very good. My gf loves the Brazilian specific treats as well. Staff are great, very friendly and serve you efficiently. Only issue is the draft from the front door now that the colder weather is coming in

My 6 years old asked me to write this review to say how much he enjoyed his strawberry pancakes. The waiters went out of their way to please us. Very nice place with great food.
