We recently dined at this fantastic restaurant with the family, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we sat down, the service was top-notch, and our food arrived quickly, piping hot, and full of flavor. The pizza had a perfect crust, the pasta was cooked to perfection, and the shrimp were incredibly fresh—each dish exceeded our expectations. The truffle fries were a delightful touch that added to the whole meal. As if the food wasn’t enough, the ambiance, with its stunning lake view, truly set the mood for the evening. It was the perfect setting to relax and enjoy. We’ll definitely be coming back for more!
Had a lovely lunch here right by the water. It was a nice day so we sat outside within the partially covered patio. Service was excellent! The food was delicious and filling. I can see why this place is usually packed during peak meal times, especially on weekends. Can’t wait to go back and try some of their other dishes.
We had lunch at PORT this week. It was a lovely sunny day so we decided to eat outside and enjoy the lake view as well. The beautiful day was made better with service by Grace.nnShe welcomed us, introduced herself, gave us time, and checked in during our meal with good timing, ensuring we were okay and enjoying our meals.nnThe appetizer we ordered wasn't so impressive. When we gave her the feedback, she was receptive, thoughtful, and reassuring in her response. Also, when I made a request to amend a drink item, she presented options.nnGrace was naturally pleasant and warm in her disposition, and the service was seamless. We were happy for that, too, because it was our anniversary. Grace didn't know that until the end of our meal, at which point we got a complimentary dessert -- which we appreciated.nnAs for the lunch, we both really enjoyed our main dishes. Not our first time there and won't be our last.
Come dine at this hot spot, lakeside restaurant in Pickering and you will have a delightful time filled with good food, great ambience and excellent customer service. I keep getting quality experience and that’s why I repeatedly make the trip from another region in the GTA to dine here. Shout out to Savannah at the hostess desk for starting my experience off on a high note. All the servers deliver excellent, friendly and professional service here. Shout out to the chef and kitchen staff for preparing delectable dishes that made my palate dance. My only critique is that the mango cheese cake didn’t taste as mango-ey as I would like. It confused my palate. So let’s work on that part cause that was the reason I didn’t give the restaurant’s food the 5 star it deserved. I will give it a couple weeks and come again to see if mango season makes a different. Still, I love the Port. Thanks for keeping clean and modern space. Whether you choose to find indoor or outdoor if weather is great, you will have great experience. If you have a boat, you can pull up at the docks too. That’s next level experience! it was cool watching a couple dock their boat then come into restaurant.The Port is where it’s at!
Overall, it was an average experience. We made a reservation several days in advance and specifically requested a window seat. However, when we arrived, we were seated away from the windows. When I asked about it, the staff explained that they were saving those tables for a large group. Surprisingly, we stayed for almost two hours, and those tables remained empty the entire time. The food was decent, but the service left much to be desired. The staff seemed to avoid making eye contact, and they only checked on us after we had already finished eating.
