Best fish and chips in the GTA hands down. I've been coming here since I was a child and it hasn't dropped in quality in the slightest. Extremely flaky and crispy batter. Halibut still firm and held together very well

Been getting fish n' chips at Jasper's with Pickering locals for years and always have the same mediocre experience. The fries are soggy, completely unseasoned and have a distinct unpleasant oil flavour.  I've tried the onion rings which are nice looking, big and crispy but unfortunately have the same unpleasant oil flavour for me. I'm a slaw fan but will never order it here again. Its one note - sour, not the complex bite of sour, tangy, sweet, spicy and aromatic that you'd want from a good coleslaw. A house made tartar would be a significant upgrade to the messy packets of sauce. Locals still love the place so it's doubtful future improvements will be made.

I have been coming here for a long time. This is a great place. If you want real fish and chips. Don't go anywhere else but here.
