MR. GREEK

I ordered the Original Chicken Souvlaki (pictured) with side of rice and sub salad for roasted veggies, my husband ordered the Original Traditional Gyro from the website for pickup. Ordering was easy and included all the information to make for a good ordering system. Pickup was a little slow as it appeared they served everyone on first come first serve basis, regardless of having ordered ahead and arriving at pickup time. For the food, taste was good and there was a hearty amount of delicious assorted veggies. Everything was good portion wise except my souvlaki chicken. In my opinion, it did not look like two whole skewers, and in fact, it looked like a piece was missing. There were two larger pieces and five much smaller pieces. I'm not sure why there are such obvious size differences between the pieces, and how 7 pieces can be from 2 same item skewers. It is possible that one skewer is normally 3 pieces and they put 4 small pieces as one skewer, however 3 pieces on a skewer seems a bit small for a 2 skewer meal at this price point. Overall, I was not impressed enough with the roast veggies to return to find out how many pieces is really on one skewer.

First off I love Mr Greek. I grew up off the Danforth and fell in love with their souvlaki. I eat it all the time. The food at this location has always been great. Today there was an issue I was not happy about and when I expressed my concerns, I was immediately heard and the matter was quickly resolved. Its obvious to me that the owner is very committed to providing excellent service and good quality. I'm happy to hear that lunch combos that are more affordable are now on the menu and they hope to have a family combo offer coming out soon. Looking forward to continued great Greek cuisine!

I've always liked Mr. Greeks food but my first time to this location. The young girl who was working cash and brought me my food made my experience amazing. Friendly, smiling, polite and genuine. Full service restaurant experience are a quick service brand. Whoever she is, give her a raise! Visited Jan 7 at 7pm.
