Pizza Ranch

Went in on a busy Sunday afternoon. Food was on the buffet and they had several varieties of pizza and salad.. It seems the demand was a bit much for them to keep up with. They were better than several sit-down places we tried. The service was okay and the food was okay. Prices were a little high.

Hot food & desserts were great. Salad & soup bar was a mess . No soup, many ingredients in need of refill. What was there was good. Staff, the girl at the cash register, was trying to get things caught up. Possibly short on staff??

Salad was really good, pizza was horrible, ice cream was ok, and the blueberry pie was delicious!nWhen we first got here I accidentally spilled my daughter soda on the counter top. I figured I better tell someone quick so it’s not a bigger stickier mess. The lady had a big attitude about it and rolled her eyes . When she cleaned the top she wiped it all over and pushed the ice onto the floor. My daughter got a lil scared. She must been having a bad day, but it’s still uncalled for all that attitude!nDinner was $ 39.58 , 1 adult, 1 senior, 1 child….

We have NEVER had a bad experience at the Jamestown Pizza Ranch...... until today. There were multiple customers who witnessed this.....nThe stack of plates at the salad bar was way too tall and was leaning. I took my plate very carefully and was halfway down the salad bar when 6-8 plates slid off onto the floor, two of them broke and the rest were face down on the floor. My wife and I picked up the plates and stacked them on the floor out of the way. Two employees came out, swept up the broken plates and put the unbroken ones off the floor and right next to the clean plates. When I realized that, I took the stack from the clean plates and set on the front counter. An employee immediately grabbed them off the front counter and stacked them back with the clean plates. I can tell you right now that if I walk in here and see those people working next time, I will turn around and walk back out. Another customer came up to me, disgusted with what she just witnessed.

Food was not fresh. Arrived at 6:50 all the pizzas looked like they had been sitting there for a long time. No dessert pizzas. I asked about any fresh food and they said it would be awhile. At 7:20 still no fresh pizza.
