Excellent Mexican food in Jamestown, ND!nI enjoyed the Fajitas Mazatlan.nMexican music played in the restaurant is a nice touch and adds to the ambiance.nWaiter Juan was pleasant, however the hostess, although clearly not a native North Dakotan, displayed the usual demeanor of wishing she was anywhere else but there and wished I would leave.nDefinitely recommend for the good food, decor, and music.
I wasn’t expecting some top notch or pure authentic Mexican restaurant, but for there to only be two in town it could be better. I’d honestly rather go to Taco Bell. Water taste like sink water, my margarona with beer in it was mostly beer. Normally you nearly fill the margarita bowl, then turn over a full beer in it. I got a beef chimichanga. It was shredded not ground and it was tough. I left over half of it on the plate and I do NOT waste food. Tasted like dog food. The rice was great though. The person with me had the steak burrito it was better tasting, but the meat and other inner ingredients were nearly burnt as well, maybe I caught them on a bad day but I won’t be trying again to catch them on a good one. The place wasn’t packed at all and waiting 10+ minutes for drink refills and the bill is ridiculous.
Absolutely delicious and friendly staff. Liked my time in there so much I tipped both cook and waiter!
I'm impressed when a Mexican restaurant brings 2 baskets of chips and enough salsa for everyone. Usually my kids demolish the chips while my hubby and I are looking over the menu. The food tasted great and was hot like you couldn't touch the plate because it was so hot. I had the fish street tacos and they were filled full of fish. Onions and cilantro were on the side. My husband had the fajitas. He said they were good, but it only came with two tortillas and there was enough meat and fixings to fill more. My kids were happy with their choices. The restaurant was kind of set up so that the waitstaff was all behind the bar. They all just kind of stood around looking bored and kinda watched you as you ate. It did eventually get busier and then they were busy serving, etc.
I didn't originally intend to come here for lunch, but after I received my beer and food, I knew I would be back
