La Carreta Mexican Restaurant

Place needs a little TLC on the outside and inside.nService was horrible, and it took an hour to get our food. Every Mexican restaurant I've been to takes about 8 minutes or so to have our food on the table. Not this one. Waitress came over once in the almost 2 hours we were at the restaurant.nFood on the other hand...not bad.

Food is hit and miss. Most of the time it’s bland. There are items on the menu that they don’t even serve.nnSuper slow service, sometimes takes over an hour to get your food. The staff is mostly smug.nnKinda just bad management. Better service and flavor would justify the high cost.nnReally, it’s not even authentic Mexican food. The workers are mostly from Central America. I think the good reviews are from people who don’t really know.

Plate came out hot but the enchiladas were cold. Cheese wasn’t even melted and hardly any sauce. Husbands fajitas were dried out overcooked meat. Chips were the bottom of the bag. Restaurant needs a good cleaning and some major repairs to interior.

I have been to two Mexican places in Jamestown did not much care for them. This place had really good food

I was a regular here. Juan was the best. food was on point with everything, i have order. The margaritas are great as well.
