Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar

I haven't eaten at an Applebee's for a long time and they used to be consistent with good quality food options. Sadly however things have changed and it was an overall disappointing experience. The food was mediocre, not much by way of presentation. The chicken wings hardly had any sauce on them and when we asked for more sauce, it was very different than what was on the wings originally. Good size portions but no real care in putting together a pleasing looking meal. The saving grace of the restaurant was the staff the hostess and our server Jesse were both lovely. Jesse was friendly and attentive, and quick to respond to any of our requests.

My food was delicious bourbon shrimp, chicken and mash I would have preferred more mushrooms. Unfortunately, my partner's pasta tasted a little off to us both as the sauce seemed extremely oily and it gave him a bit of a upset tummy. We also asked for mozzarella sticks after debating and deciding against trying the artichoke dip but the server misunderstood and put the dip on order. Not a huge problem as it was delicious. The wings were great. My first margarita, one of the ice cubes had some weird brown mush inside the actual cube. My partner swapped with me and we left the cube on the plate to be taken away but the server only said, eww, when she saw it. However, I really appreciate the foot grabber for the restrooms.

Stopped in to have lunch. We had the special, pick 2 for $10.99. I’m on a special diet and my mom is currently on chemotherapy so we both were able to find something on the lighter side. Savannah our server was exceptionally accommodating. We loved our lunch but also our service was equally great!

This is my local Applebee's and I've been in here several times. It's an Applebee's. There's nothing great or bad about it, but expect food to take an hour unless it's a weekday. I suggest going during rush hour or after 9 for half priced appetizers. Try the quesadilla burger, cheese sticks or bites, and the mountain dew berry bash. It's an Applebee's exclusive and it's incredible. I wouldn't suggest the bourbon burger. There's a barbecue sauce on it that just ruins it.nA good semi-formal place to eat out late.

The garlic mash, dinner salad, and cheese sticks were good but the steak was supposed to be medium well done but it was well done, which made it a little dry. The drinks were good but they tasted like a virgin drink.
