New place in Sandusky that you gotta try! We were very impressed with the selection of specialty pizzas and the pickle pizza is a must have! They offer many different selections of sizes and items for toppings and even a cauliflower crust or a crust less option which is amazing for those looking for gluten-free options. They have many different flavors of wings also however we didn’t try them this time but will update when we do. The location was very easy to find, located right behind Panera off of st. rt. 250 Milan rd and has plenty of parking. Handicap parking is available and the location is on the ground floor and handicap accessible. The restroom is also handicap accessible and clean. This is a smaller place so not a ton of room to eat in but was clean and the employees were very friendly and helpful with explaining ingredients and toppings. We will definitely be ordering again!!
The guys that helped us today was amazing and had no problem explaining and recommending things to us since we are from Michigan, i recommend anyone and everyone to stop by and grab some food, be it local or from of out of town/state.
We visited Pizza Boys after Cedar Point a couple of weeks ago and it was awesome! We ordered 4 of their pizzas plus wings and mac bites and we took home half a pizza! We were hungry! The taste was great, the service was spectacular and I'd definitely go back. I'm glad to have supported a local Sandusky business and would recommend them for a family to dine there!
We ordered a margherita pizza and when we picked it up it was barely warm and there was no sauce on it. It was stated on the website menu that it came with pizza sauce. We called the store to clarify and they said it wasn’t the “authentic” way to make that pizza so they do it differently. The pizza was very dry and burnt. We also got mozzarella sticks and they tasted like they were microwaved. For the price of $30, I would have expected a better quality pizza. We would have been better off going to Little Caesars...
My friends and I came here after unsuccessfully trying to find a restaurant after a day at Cedar Point. I loved the pizza here, especially the sauce! My friends loved their oven-baked subs, and the super fresh salad. This is the only restaurant in this area that is open late, and even though they were very busy, they had our food out in 20 minutes. I ordered a cup of ranch, which they forgot to give me. I went up to the counter and they gave me two for the hassle. The bathrooms and the restaurant are super clean and accommodating of wheelchairs. Overall great experience, would highly recommend!!!
Pizza Boys was underwhelming. When I got there, they said 10 more minutes. No biggie. My husband went back in after 8 minutes, we drove home, which took less than 10 minutes, and somehow, the pizza was cold? The sauce is unique. It's a little sweet. I lost my tolerance for the flavor after the first slice. The mozzarella sticks were cold, you could tell it either wasn't fully cooked or was left under a heat lamp. Regardless, they were not good at all. The apple pie pizza was decent. I was really hoping to be blown away and in this case, I was not. We'll try again in the future maybe, since our experience could've been a fluke.
Went there for the first time and loved the food, I was not expecting the fold over to have something on top of the bread, and I wish I had napkins when eating. One end of it was a lil dark but you can expect that using a brick oven. The cheese bread was awesome too. My suggestion is to find a way to give out your sauce for your cheesy bread heated, like maybe in a slow cooker you can keep around so you can server hot sauce for your cheesy bread instead of cold sauce. Over all it was great, I am very satisfied and maybe if you read this, the next time I go you will have heated sauce in a cup instead of cold.
I ordered a taco pizza and a mushroom pepperoni pizza. Both were soggy for thin crust and then burn to h#// on the ends. Everything just tasted like burn garlic powder/garlic salt and the taco pizza tasted like nothing no seasoning at all just that burn garlic powder taste. That was the first try I always give a second chance but was very surprisingly disappointed
My partner and I were in town celebrating his birthday earlier this week, and we had planned to grab him a late night dinner at Dianna's supposed to be a 24 hr diner up the road. They were closed. Disappointed, we were going to head to a fast food joint but saw that Pizza Boys was blessedly still open after midnight. We stopped in, and he got the club sub. Back at our hotel, he took one very slow bite before proclaiming it was possibly the best sub he'd ever had.
We fell in love with the pickle pizza here the first time we ordered. It is something out of the norm and honestly very good pizza. HOWEVER...the second time we attempted to order. We placed our order online, received a confirmation email with a time that our order would be available for pick up and our debit card was instantly charged. I arrived to pick up our pizza and the restaurant was closed! This was at 4:30pm and their hours listed on the website and the front door of the restaurant both read 11am. After waiting a half hour, my husband finally got a response from the owner through facebook messenger who informed us the restaurant would open at 5pm and our pizza would promptly be ready no explanation as to why they were not open as advertised. After 5pm the store was still closed, I had no pizza and was still out the money I paid. I also encountered a few other people who had also placed an online order and arrived to find the store closed. We were forced to go somewhere else and requested a refund which they were unable to do electronically which meant we then had to drive back to the store to pick up a cash refund even though we paid by card. Do no trust online ordering here! The food was great but very disappointing service and no attempt to make it right...
