There was a party of 7 of us.. We called ahead they told us 20 minutes when we got there we waited 1 hour and 15 minutes which was fine it was busy and I'm sure there shirt staffed. Our appetizers came out with our food. We were only given one bowl of salad for 7 of us . Which wasn't enough, and they gave us one basket of bread sticks, which there were 6, so 1 of us didn't get 1.. The food was bland, and it seemed like it was sitting for a couple of minutes as a sauce was glazed. Im not complaining, but I've been here a lot and this food wasn't very good.
The food was great, but the customer service was AWESOME. We had a large order, and a few things were missing or mad wrong. I called and told the manager about the issues, and not only did she replace the Incorect meal, but she replaced the ENTIRE order! now that is how you take care of your customers!! She asked me I odered I told her mine was fine and she said " no I want to replace all of it so you all can eat together as a family like you intended to" the reason being is that I had to drive 15 mins back to the restaurant To get the correct order. This was Olive Graden in Sandusky Ohio 44870. I can say enough on how the entire staff handled this order. WAY TO GO OLIVE GARDEN 5 STARS ACROSS THE BOARD!
Haven't been to any Olive Garden location for 3.5 years no thanks to Covid and border restrictions. Wasnt dissapointed. Food still tastes the exact same. I had the tour of Italy.... loved it. Meghan was our waitress and despite being busy with our section plus tending bar, she did an excellent job taking care of us and ensuring we were happy. One of the salad plates that came out was dirty and that was my only minor negative experience.
If you leave hungry that's your fault.. the portions are ridiculously large... Never ending bread sticks.that just magically reappear as your dining.. the atmosphere is old Italy and reminds you how good family time can be...Food: 5/5
Some friends took me there for my birthday and we had a wonderful time. Our waitress Kittana was amazing and so wonderful as our server! 5 stars are not enough for the service she gave us!Food: 5/5
We love Olive Garden as a family. It's familiar and decently priced. This Olive Garden was pretty good but some suggestions for them is to cook the potato in the zuppa a little longer. They were not crunchy but almost. All other food was fantastic. The service here can use some help too. Our waiter was running so much he seemed like he was a little overwhelmed. We didn't ask for any suggestions but he told my vegetarian husband how great a very meaty dish was. It made us laugh
Our food was delicious; as it always is, but I wish the service was a little better. We waited over 15 minutes to be seated, only for the hostess to point at a booth and tell us we can sit there if it was fine - then waited over 10 minutes for menus, offers for drinks. Our waitress was preoccupied with other stuff and we barely saw her. Again though, the food was great.
Can’t ever go wrong with the soup, salad, and breadsticks. I also tried the Green Apple Moscato Sangria and it did not disappoint…. If you like sweet, tart, tangy, give it a try!
I must say if you have the chance to ask for ALEXIS, YOU MUST!!! The BEST service I've had yet! She suggested GREAT food options, drink options, and treated my 13 year old a young man instead of a child!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH ALEXIS!!! You made our night great! ...4 star atmosphere bc the music was a bit too loud!
Haven't eaten at OG in a long time and was pleasantly surprised. This location was very clean and didn't show the wear and tear like those close to where we live. Deann was an outstanding server - very personable and her timing of when to check with you was perfect! I even told the manager how great she was and I am not easily impressed. The salads and soups are what you expect as was the one entree we ordered so no complaints here. We would go here again and wish all locations were like this one in Sandusky.
