Pita Lite

Went here for lunch during the week, I read they had new owners and had a chance to meet them when I was there. Very nice people who serve up really good shawarma. Fresh ingredients and huge portions. Recommended to anyone in the area.

Went yesterday with my boyfriend and while waiting for our food we were given to try lentils soup. I’m not a fan of eating soups from restaurants but you will not go wrong with the lentils soup from here! Very tasty, well seasoned! We also got beef and lamb plate. The lamb was well done that you can separate it from the bone with ease. Beef was also very well seasoned. Big portions worth the money! The owner is very friendly and polite. Go and you will not regret!

The new owner is absolutely the nicest man!! His lentil soup is so delicious & he was even so sweet to give me a sample of rice to try, which was also very tasty!! The inside is so clean. My friend said that the falafels are amazing, so I will definitely be ordering those to try next, but I am confident that they will be the same quality & deliciousness as the soup and rice. Don’t listen to the old, bad reviews!!! There is a new owner & everyone should come try the food because you wont be disappointed!!!!

Passed by this location during lunch and was actually pleasantly surprised. Got a shawarma wrap and it was very good. Definitely fresh and well seasoned. The only issue I had was they didn’t have the middle eastern pickles, they just looked like bread and butter pickles. Other than that, the place is clean with a good amount of seating.

Completely new transformed store. The new management is so kind and generous. The food is fresh and delicious, highly recommended you come try!

The new owner is so sweet, me and my family felt right at home. The food was fresh and delicious and they did not skimp on the fillings for the shawarmas. Super impressed with how much the restaurant had changed, it was a pleasant surprise and I will definitely be coming back again. Easily one of the best shawarmas I've had in Mississauga in a while.

Local gem! I used to come here weekly pre-COVID, just visited again after years of working from home and I’m so glad they’re back! I was immediately impressed by the bright, clean renovation, and how patient and helpful the staff were in serving the customers ahead of me. The veggies were so fresh, and the food was even better than I remember. The family running it is extremely kind and I felt like I was being treated to a meal in their home. They even offered a sample of their lentil soup which was an authentic middle eastern recipe. I don’t come into the office often but when I do, I will be coming here every time :

I work in this area and decided to stop by Pita Lite for lunch. At first sight, this restaurant was very clean! It was my first time eating at this chain and the worker forgot their name was incredibly kind and patient with me as I ordered. The food was also fresh and flavourful! It's definitely one of the healthier restaurants in the area. I ordered the souvlaki plate this time but I look forward to trying the other menu options. I don't normally make reviews but I definitely wanted to share this hidden gem. It is under new management now. Highly recommend! Dietary restrictions: It's halal!

This was my first time trying Pita Lite. I had a chicken shawarma on rocks $10 and did not like it at all. The chicken did not taste fresh, the frozen fries were super soggy and the sauces were very bland. It did not look very appetizing, way too much oil/liquid on everything, I got sick after eating it and will definitely not be coming back here any time soon. The place was clean inside and the staff was friendly. There is lots of parking available nearby and service was fairly quick, was in and out in 10 minutes. Overall not a good experience, I don't recommend it.

Ordered a shawarma on rice. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious potatoes included with it. The price is great and the food was fresh.
