The Shawerma Bowl

This was my first time here. I ordered takeout, chicken shawarma bowl on fries $10. I like the concept of the edible bowl, it tasted really good and added a nice crunch to the meal, however could use a better takeout container for it. The garlic sauce is really good, very strong taste. I came in early and the fries were not available yet and so the owner got some from the burger factory next door and they tasted great. Chicken also tasted good but it's not cooked on the spit like most shawarma places. I opted out of putting any other topings on the bowl. Perhaps the neatest part of this restourant is that they cook fresh bread for every shawarma - the downside is that the machine that does it is located at the front counter, is huge and very loud and just gives the whole place a weird vibe. The employee was nice and I really appritiated the fries thing - got an extra star for it. Service was pretty quick, I was in and out in under 15 minutes. The space it self is pretty small with a few small tables for dining in. It also looks like it could be a bit cleaner, the area behind the counter looked disorganized. There is lots of parking available. Overall a good experience, I really liked the edible bowl.

Had a bad experience my first time. Ordered a chicken shawarma wrap and after a minute it got really soggy and messy. Chicken and sauce was all falling out. Very minimal meat. Taste was not good either. Don't think I will go again especially with the amazing Bamiyan Kabob right across it.

Best shawarma dish I've tried in the city. I've been back 3-5 times weekly in the month since I first tried it, I wish I was exaggerating. It's noteworthy that this is the first place where I choose the wrap option over the bowl option pretty consistently - though the bowl is a nice treat, they serve it in a fried pita-bowl. I just love the flavours, the freshness, the staff are always so friendly and the portions are generous. I think above all, the consistency is what's impressive. Over a dozen visits since the start of April, each one has been excellent. Fast service, fresh and hot food. Great flavours, original recipes. Give it a try if you're in the area, I'm always there at dinner time so I can't speak to the traffic around lunch, but I'm sure it's the busiest time of day based on the surrounding location. Consistent 5/5, beef or chicken, you can't go wrong.

Something different, shawarma in a bowl. Taste good. Chicken is good, sauce taste good. The place though is a little small and it's too hot inside. Just take out the food.

Got a chicken shawarma wrap and it was not good. Meat was bland. Garlic sauce is a huge disappointment. With all of the Shawarma in the area, especially that plaza I expected it be good since there are 4 Kebab/shawarma places in walking distance. I see now why it was empty. Also attendant was wearing a burger shirt of company next door so I think it is safe to avoid that place as well. Restuarant could also use a clean/update.

Amazing place. Very good customer service and fresh foods. Presentation is very unique. I had the chicken shawarma bowl with rice and fries. Came up to 12 something and it was served on a wooden tray. The presentation was very unique and was very pleasing. The pita bread was deep fried with olive oil and it wasn't as dry as i thought it would be.If you save some of the sauces for the bread it tastes much better and doesn't taste as dry. Over all experience was good. I would definitely come again.

Absolutely delicious beef shawerma bowl, very well presented! I was in town for a TROID seminar for a few days & found this great lunch spot.

Visited this place earlier today. Food was a little above average in terms of taste, however the toppings were very old and stale. The lettuce was browning and the rest of the vegetables were pretty soggy. The beef was kept in a freezer and placed directly on the grill without thawing. All cons aside, the food was still decent and I’d consider it as a last choice/option in the future.

Their shawarma wrap is amazing, with pita made fresh in front of you as you wait, and lots of fresh toppings. Ahmed is a really nice guy too. We are not from Mississauga but would make the drive to come back

Best chicken shawarma I have ever had! They actually make the damn pita from dough when you order a wrap so it's absolutely amazing and you can't get any fresher. The bowl is great as well!
