Average place as far as taste is concerned . Good and spacious seating. Indian owner . Price is $14 for chicken shawarma with insufficient quantity. Mainly they stuff up vegetables to fill the plate . Less chicken and less rice . Lacks the punch a shawarma should have . You may try $11 shawarma with pop and fries .
I had a small beef shawarma dinner with a mango drink $10. It was not very good, nothing tasted or looked fresh. The beef tasted horrible and the garlic sauce was not very garlicky at all, it was oily/greasy. The fries were ok, could use some more seasoning. The place is in a busy spot and hard to spot from Dixie road, mostly due to all the construction and large billboards/signs all over the place. The outside of the store is very beat down, in fact everything around it is closed for business. The inside has very out dated decor and does not look very clean. Service was pretty quick and the staff were nice. Overall not a place I will be returning to again.
Great place, walking distance from the Flying j. Food tastes great, great price to. I missed good shawarma, this one is the closest i found that is not in the middle east! Cheers, will be back again!
If I could select 0 stars I would. Just went to grab a shawarma for lunch. I have been going there for years and the previous owners were fantastic. What I got today was absolute GARBAGE. Worst shawarma I have ever had. This used to be a great place and one of my favourites to go grab a quick lunch. Looks like new owners have changed to concentrate mostly on Indian food. Too bad. I will not be back.
First time in the place. Bit of a language barrier at the start, soon figured out. Had the butter chicken and a beef wrap. Loved the taste. Wrap was a nice size. The staff was very polite and helpful on any questions I had. Will go again
maz maz is now under new ownership and i must say that its the worst thing i have ever happened. i ordered a chicken plate platter, the chicken was super dry, had an off taste, the rice tastes disgusting and its texture was of mush, they no longer have the potatoes, the salad was bland. they ended up removing some of the sauces and im guessing they did they to save on money. the service was also horrible, i paid for my food and not even 2 minutes later the same person that took my order started ringing up my order again and i had to remind her i just paid. they even asked me if i wanted chicken, I ORDERED A CHICKEN PLATE. its really unfortunate because maz maz was really dam good and the new owners have ruined a great experience. its so bad that i want to drive back and throw this meal if you can even call it that at the staff.
The food is fresh, very tasty and very reasonably priced! The people are very nice and friendly! Highly recommended!
Clean and prices are good but food is not served hot its warm and if you want extra sauce or an extra spoon of hummus you must pay. Shawarma is so chopped up its hard to tell if its even chicken!!! Previous owners were amazing. Newly owned just not up to par. Many authentic shawarma places are more welcoming and generous.
Actually I did noticed a huge change between the old one that ran this restaurant was great and couple months ago it was different, new ownership but don't worry, the old owner came back maybe to realize about angry customers from the new owner. It used to be my everyday lunch brunch, even brought my whole family for supper when the old owner was running it. I loved their food, decent price. But the new owner couple months ago was not good, the hummus tasted weird compared with the old owner the old owner, their hummus tasted great, I was also refused to not add dressing on my salad.
Prior to Covid, Maz Maz was the best Shawarma place in this area; visited today and friendly service but a very poorly put together shawarma; not enough filling .. .actually the pita bread was half folded over and empty. Not going back.
