I am happy about the treatment and attitude my mother received today in ER. Despite it was a long night stay, the stuff is very kind and professional. Morning shift expedited my mother treatment and was really amazing in what they are doing and it their attitude to the patience and their relatives.
Update: I delivered my babies here. Amazing experience. Fantastic nurses in neonatology. Very knowledgeable and they provided so much help and support.nOriginal:nI do all my pregnancy lab tests and ultrasound here. I never wait, everyone is super nice. I am impressed by efficiency of a public hospital. I would definitely recommend.
I wouldn't even give this emergency room hospital a one star. Was there today with a friend that had sharp pain in there head. Waited four hours going by number of patient bracelet then then file was closed by a staff member. Had to start all over again had to fight to get Tylenol. And then they keep moving my friend number back more and more. Was to by the nurse to go home take Tylenol if the pain gets read the internet to see what to do. This is not the way you care for patients. Ever anything happen it's on their hands. Would not send my black fly to this hospital. Stay away at all cost.
Awful nurse. I spoke French to let them know I dont speak French. Nurse in ward 8 south says in English I dont speak English in English then hung up. Ugh! Liar!
Was taken to the ambulance and was transported to Pierre Boucher Hospital at 11pm. Upon arrival, everything went smoothly and I told the nurses I was c/o chest pain 8.5/10, dizziness, chills & nausea. Hives attack I was then proceeded to wait in the ER. Hours went by, no calls. At 0700, still nothing. Pain was still persistent, still ate nothing & no re-assessment. At 7:45, I asked the nurse at the triage for Tylenol 325mg x2 because I assumed I’d be staying for a while. At 8:30, we were assigned a room. MD came to evaluate at 9:30am. Taking blood was painful because the veins weren’t popping due to no food intake in the last 16hours due to the attack. Radiology came in clutch at 10:45am. Was given Reactine to prevent those circumstances. I was waiting for the MD to get the results of the exams taken. Got discharged at 2pm.nI would say overall my experience wasn’t the most pleasant, some of the staff are trying their best, but I wouldn’t suggest this healthcare establishment as the best as they were constantly rushed and putting you under stress when you are in pain. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOUR HEALTH AND AVOID HOSPITALS AT ALL COSTS!
