Always a good experience for me.nnThe staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, always know when the don't actually know something, and are quick to help.nnThe 30% markup can sometimes be a bit higher on some of the reptiles, so you can occasionally get a bit lower price on things if you try.nnThere are 3 dedicated parking spots for the store, however there are lots of parking spots in the parking lot out front of Safeway.nnThey don't have dogs here, however they occasionally have some cats to adopt. They also have ferrets and a parrot currently.nnThe fish and reptile section gets cleaned regularly and they are more than happy to let you hold something if you want.nnOverall, I'd say it's quite good. I've developed good relationships with the staff there over the years and always get useful help.

Clean and well organized store, we always like to visit the cats and other animals. Barb is absolutely wonderful - knowledgeable, kind, and patient with the many questions my kids had about the different pets.

If you spoil your pet, this place has a seemingly great variety for the area of capliano. It is a little pricey but they support a local cat tree maker. His craftmanship is A1 and in my opinion, better than the brand name ones. They will build your cat tree stand on the spot. They have a buy 10 of the same beamd and size, get one free.
