We had a great first experience today at Pet Valu with the help of Doug, the store owner. We are new kitten owners as of yesterday and had plently of questions and he was able to confirm some things for us and he educated us about a lot of different types of food and what might be best for our kittens. He wasn’t pushing a sale, he pushed customer service and friendliness and now we have our go-to pet store. Thanks again and see you soon!

Stopped by yesterday thinking that I would get a betta fish - turns out this store only carries fish products but not the actual pet (some Pet Valu stores do have a set up to buy bettas, but according to one of the workers I spoke to at this location it's likely at the discretion of the owners to sell). The fish section of this store is one small shelf in the back. Regardless, there's lots of other products for other pets, and the employees seem friendly and knowledgeable.

Great selection of pet supplies and food. Store is clean and organized. Free parking too.

I had a problem with one staff member at the store. However the owner rectify the situation, he was very nice and extremely helpful, so I'll definitely be back.
