Pet Valu

I was going to review on the awesome customer service until I saw that parking review...I came in to Pet Valu yesterday after having to park on the street because the parking lot was full. I thought I was going to walk into a jam packed store but there was only 2 customers there. I spoke to the manager about not wanting to buy my 40lbs bag of dog food and 2 large bags of litter because I didn't want to walk that much weight back down the street to my car. The manager went out of her way to move her own vehicle so that I could have a spot in the lot. She was telling me that people always park here to go elsewhere. Good for her for having people ticketed! Why should her business be impacted because ignorant people don't want to park on the street and feel entitled to park wherever they want...ESPECIALLY when there are clearly marked signs!

Very bad costumer service. I went into a neighboring business before returning to purchase ear cleaner for my dog and was ticketed. All within 30 min. By law officer claimed they called to have people ticketed and while I was speaking with the officer another man came up with the same experience. And he was parked for even less time then me. I spoke with the staff on duty who called the manager and they both refused to speak to speak to the bylaw officer to have it erased ( as the bylaw officer said they could do). Definitely lost my business and atleast one other patrons. I’d give 0 stars if I could

The staff are helpful and friendly. And there is always a cat or two to be adopted :)
