Great staff, a grand window view, and a large selection of clothes and books when not seeking for studies. Good place to get coffee without a huge line if you don't mind said coffee being made with Coke. Textbooks are once again organized by author's surname and not course code, but if you're not sure what it is you're looking for or where to find it, there are QR codes that can be scanned to show what books your profs have ordered there. There are new, used, online, and rental options listed where applicable, and new books are price matched to most official Canadian distributors including indigo and Amazon.ca. Alternatively, you can order them online, which helps when books are back-ordered. Lots and lots of flannel. So much flannel.

While they have good stuff, they up there prices of text books over night AFTER you bought it. I ordered a text book a week and a bit ago, but apparently they didn’t charge me right away. Well I don’t have that 65$ in my account atm, so when they decided to suddenly charge me now over a week later I don’t have it. They cancel it right away without communication. I go back to buy it again… surprise! It’s 20$ MORE than when I first put the order in! That’s absolutely ridiculous. Compare multiple places for text book prices. Chances are, you’ll either suddenly have to pay 1/3 of the cost EXTRA, or you’ll find a place that has it better priced. Honestly ridiculous

This will be my daughter's first year at Carleton U. She got a a new red hoodie to start her year off right! The book store is bright, clean and well stocked. I'm sure she will be visiting the book store often.

Awesome store and extremely helpful staff, unfortunately their prices are pretty steep. However, still a great place to get supplies. I really don’t have any qualms besides the price my pens cost. They also have the best wired earphones I’ve found which is awesome! Also, very oddly welcoming. :

Good place to buy Carleton swag. Look for the discount raxk at the back. You can also buy supplies here like pens, paper and binders. The other half of the bookstore is textbooks. They have it well organized. My only complaint is the price of the text books. There is a high markup. Most profs use Haven books which is unfortunate for the official bookstore of Carleton.

It's clean, well organized and lots of items to choose from. The price tag is large but I guess every university store has same problem. They know students won't look at the price tag so why not make more money.

I visited the River Building at CU campus. It has a beautiful view of the Rideau River. It is a modern building with classrooms and a large auditorium. The building has a large open stair case inside the entrance, elevators, large open gathering areas with large windows, excellent view of the wooded area across the river, the train bridge, some of the other campus buildings, and a large outdoor terrace overlooking the Rideau River. It is user friendly for handicap access. There is a full service Tim Horton's on the ground floor with indoor dining and with doors to the pinic tables along the river for outdoor seating. Tim's is only open on weekdays.

Sure it's nice to have on campus if you're very rich and don't mind paying $30-$40 for a coffee mug...

typical uni bookstore. i recommend waiting till like the middle of the first semester to buy merch cuz they have better deals

they would not take back my return even after i spoke to 3 people about it.. this store is the reason for my karen origin story.
