The first Pet Planet store opened in 1996 and was founded on the principle of total pet health wellness through education. Through passion and innovation we have grown from one retail location to various locations across North America.

Just took our 6 month old French Bulldog there for a nail trim and Kayla was AMAZING!!!! I did not have to hold him or anything, she took him to the back and returned in minutes with beautifully manacured nails!! Now that’s what I call talent!! We will make this our regular location going forward!! Thanks Kayla for making it stress free ☺️

I absolutely love shopping for both my dog and cat at this location! The staff has always been extremely friendly and so helpful with any questions I’ve had. Special shoutout to Sarah who has always been great and is so knowledgeable.

Good store for when you need the food or supplies you're looking for. But ever since Damien isn't working there anymore, the quality of my two dogs' grooming has dropped... I understand that sometimes people just want to hurry up and get home after a long day, but if you're going to do a hurried job and charge me such a high price... I don't think I'll go back there again. The lady in Jasper Gates does such a wonderful job, and it only costs like 115... but here, I was charged 130 for two dogs, when there was a choppy job done on my terrier shitzu mix... I don't want to have to do touch ups at home, after paying that much... come on guys!... it's not only about the money...

Great staff! They're always so helpful. Excellent selection of pet food for both dogs and cats.

Pet planet has good products and their part time weekend employees are great to deal with. I feel their prices are on the premium side and their space is quite small. I almost feel like a bull in a china shop, being very careful not to knock any off the products off the shelf.
